Purpose
I need to finance my final trip to Asia with my friends before we start working in the real world (around 5000$). I've had a steady part-time job in NY making big bucks for two years now but my company seems to be in trouble so I need to find alternate means of financing my trip. I’m scheduled to start work in July, a full two months after I graduate. Put all 0% money in HYSA personal HYSAs is established.

Goal
Find new 0% offers to reallocate existing credit limits to, and expand into missing issuers – Juniper, Advanta, etc. Want to go heavy in Business cards because of the benefit of it not showing up on credit report and to use money to generate HYSA gains. Allocate $10,000 or 10% of BT to risker but safe investments (which if defaulted on will be recoverable via personal savings). Also to gather cards that can pay for my hotel stays. Airfare will be a package deal 1400 for 21 days of unlimited flights (from JFK to HKG to all over asia) and there doesn't seem to be any way around paying the full price. I will search for card offers with hotel stays and will try to focus on finding BT offers on the business side since I still need to build CL longevity personal side.

Background
I'm 21 years old and I have been a FW member for 5+ years. I have done quite a bit a research in the past week but must do much more if I hope to get the AOR off the ground soon.

HHI
I have already accepted an offer which salary will be 65k Add in my father’s income, I was reported as a dependent last year. HHI is well over 200K

Tempting Citi BT Offer on business card (Possible Reallocation from Personal Side)
Negative side effect is increasing overall utilization

Guess I should work on B* To clean everything up.

B* plans? ??
Are you AU on any of the listed accounts or are they all yours? All listed accounts are mine.
"Allocate $10,000 or 10% of BT to risker but safe investments" - don't like this idea at all. "Risker but safe investments?" Oxymoron? Well I was discouraged from trying to start a diversified portfolio based on reccomendations of others and my own market research so I that's probably why I wrote that.
Finally, I know the temptation to borrow just $5K of the $100K in BT money. It seems like such a small amount and by the time you have to pay it back, you'll have several months of paychecks under your belt. So tempting.... RESIST.
Alternatively I could borrow it from my parents if anything really goes wrong but I'm trying to do this on my own.

How exactly is this going to put you on your trip?

In other words, what are your specific goals, and what do you need to accomplish them?

How old are your current accounts? Just leaving college, I'd assume they are spread out over the past 4 years or so? Or are they mostly concentrated together (opened at the same time)? You say 4 inquiries are going to age off in January, so I'm guessing they're from accounts opened about two years ago?

As previously told, you can choose to include your parent's income if you want, but if FR'ed they'll probably disallow it. You'll also have problems with your $65k income if FR'ed before you actually start working in July.

And you fail to complete the link between these applications and a trip to Asia. If that is your goal (rather than the 'make money over winter break' that you also mentioned), you'd be better off selecting applications that give you bonus points/miles to put towards your airfare and accomodations. With your age/credit history, 0% BT offers are not going to earn you nearly enough $$ profit to do so.

Yes - it is perfectly fine to CLR from personal to biz. Just make sure you don't cut your personal credit too low or negatively impact personal utilization. So you may not be able to use much of the $100K current CL because you'll need to stay below 50% utilization or whatever limit you set.

NYU most expensive school?? - I assume this was said pejoratively.

cc624 said:while avoiding AMEX due to BT fees etc. Throw on an AMEX card with a cardselection.com bonus. If you're not going to use it, the risk of a FR is minimal but it will help boost your utilization. Even if they do a FR, the worst that will happen is they will close the account leaving you with the bonus money. Just throw it on at the end so the inquiry doesnt affect other approvals.

Has anyone gotten 2 Disc BUS in an AOR?

6 Citi? Not impossible but highly unlikely IMHO.
