Nice! I may need that myself (IF they give me crap).

Card arrived today. Logged on and the BT offer was the same as the original offer. All looks good.

This is a good deal, but be aware that you might encounter some trouble if trying to consolidate/reallocate your other Citi credit lines to this card.

I wanted to move most a line from my existing Diamond Preferred card, however neither the front line agent nor supervisor would allow this. The first person gave me all sorts of BS, but the supervisor said that it was due to the 0%, no fee offer. He said there was no way around the system limitation on this, however he could consolidate an entire line. It wasn't my first choice, however since I have no plans on using the old card, I went ahead and did that. Now I just need to decide if I will take this offer now or wait until my Chase BT matures (trying to avoid AMEX FR).

You can get a check to your bank acct on this one.

Yes, but that wasn't what I was posting about. Rather, I was just trying to warn anyone else attempting to reallocate credit lines to this card that they may encounter some difficulty, as I did.

Sorry, I misread your post. But please let me confirm that you are saying they will consolidate my Citi Dividend credit line into the associated card? Thanks.

This offer just saved me some serious headache! time to xfer 19K @0% to CITI! SHALOM! A++++++ to the op!

question - anyone know if i can deposit this check into my CITIBANK account? i know the offer says you cannot pay off the CITI credit card balances, but can you deposit the check into a citi bank account?

Got $14,000

Thanks OP!!

just have them cut you a check, and then put the funds where ever you like!

Got $15k! Awesome, my biggest CL (I'm a student). Huge thanks OP!

Maybe they're deluged with applications (FWF effect?) but I just called to check on my application and it's still "processing." The CSR on the phone asked me the same question she had asked the last time I had called (the question was about whether I own or rent) and I told her she had asked that same question the last time. In the end, the CSR said I will get an email and/or letter in about 10 days.

Your welcome

Rorer714! Thanks a bunch! I got approved for 20k. Associated CC is taking longer for approval, i don't know why. But this card rocks!!! No INITIAL BT FEES. Zero. Zip. Nada. and the best part is 0% for a whole year. These deals are hard to come by nowadays. Thanks again!!!

How long has it been taking to get approval by mail?

No instant approval here, I wonder what the secret handshake was to get it...

Thanks OP!

Here's a new one. I happened to be in a local branch yesterday for a refi closing and browsed around while waiting for my wife. I signed up online last night - it appears there is no such thing as instant approval. They've got something they call "loan officers" who they say review applications, that it normally takes 5-6 business hours. Of course I've only tried once, maybe something about my app flagged manual review. It also did not offer to collect BT info up front:

VectraBank/Zions Bank

The brochure I picked up is preprinted with 6month 0% BT, but has a sticker advertising "Zero % APR for 12 months on purchases and balance transfers! Limited Time Only. Offer Expires February 17, 2008". The preprinted info also says "Balance Transfer Combine all of your credit card balances and make one easy payment with a Vectra Bank Colorado Balance Transfer. This no-fee [emphasis mine] service is smart, convenient and will save you valuable time in the future..."

I'll try to follow up here when I hear back from them.

Is the Vectra offer for the Platinum, Classic, or both?

Anyone know what CR they pull?

Got my card. Gonna call today to do a BT. Will post if I have any issues.

FWIW, I applied on 2/5 (long form) and they pulled my Equifax on the same day.

Called yesterday (2/14) to check on the status and it's still in processing.

The Vectra offer is for all card options: Visa Platinum & Classic, and MasterCard.

I don't know which report they pull, and won't find out in the near future (no regular report pulls for me). Unless they decline me! But my credit and current DTI are good so I will be very surprised if that happens.

Out of 7 cards I applied for in a micro-AO R, this associated is the only one that wasn't approved instantly, or within about 24 hrs. I applied on 2/11, yet as of 2/15 it's still processing. "fw effect?"

Side note: pulled EQ, in washington state.
