I'll update the QS as needed when the results come in. I really hope the good ones come through. You could say thanks LOL! Good luck, most only get a small % instant. Did you get any? My address is different on my credit report, I use a P O box. So I've only had 2 instants in about 50 apps. |

I got 1 instant It was for the WAMU Platinum MC. $2500 limit, 0% intro rate, 8.99% variable after that. It's the lowest rate they give for the card so it made me a little happy . I didn't add this to the QS but I have the Privacy Protection thing for my BOA card and the 1 month free member ship ends next week I think so I'll be able to update how the inquiries come in. |

Or the number is floating around here in a couple threads, if you want to look for it rather than wait. For a free personal report, go to Equifax.com/fcra and get a free one online. |

Wait, why did Discover say you had no checking or savings account? Go to Equifax.com/fcra right now and pull up a free credit report (for reason of "denied credit"). Doing an AOR with a surprisingly impaired credit report is something I did on my first AOR. It was a pain. |

Is there at least 1 place offering a free score for each CRA? I want 100% places. For example, I don't want places that *might* give it from TU or EX. I want places that *will* give it for TU. I don't need names, I'll search. I was just hoping for a head start edit: They said I don't have a savings or checking account because I don't have one with them. I didn't even know they had these accounts |

I didn't even know they had these accounts I think lots of folks use TrueCredit.com and Am3x's credit secure, but they're not free. Cheapest deals seem to run $10-$20 per month. See my A0R for what I use -- I get all three reports but only one (TU) score. 2Cor521 |

I don't think that is why they said that, did you answer the question **checking and or savings**. Those banks do not require an account with them. So you're saying the app may have asked whether I have such accounts and I left it blank so they thought I meant I don't have a checking or savings account at any bank? If that's the case, maybe I can give Discover a call and see what happens. 2ndCore521, i was thinking more like 1 month trials to get the score so I can see my post-A0R scores. I think I was a little vague. Having something to watch my score for free would be nice, too. I'll check out your A0R to see what you're using. |

The 'standard' checking/savings question on apps is asking if you have a checking or savings account ANYWHERE. And I guess it makes sense. It's much harder to pay your credit card bill without one. |

Alimo - check out privacy matter 123 deal elaborated upon in this thread. I have been pulling for several months with it and they have only charged me to date, $1! Based on True Credit's engine, it can pull all three big credit bureau reports and scores once every 24 hours. |

Thanks to everyone who has helped me with my AOR. I don't think I listened to everything people said but I did my best. Your words were truly helpful. BTW, all my results are in (I'm assuming CitiBusiness is a denial...I'll double-check tomorrow). Overall, I'm pretty happy. Not marvelous, but not bad, either. I got all the cards I really wanted. If anyone has a question, as always, feel free to ask. |

Well, it looks like you've successfully managed to establish cards with the rest of the largest banks (Discover would be a disappointment, but next time you'll tell them you have a bank acocunt when you apply). You know what's interesting? Chase, BofA, and WAMU seemed to "know" that your income wasn't really $200k when they granted those lines. Citibank, on the other hand, gave you two cards with larger limits. This might be one of those things where the size of your existing lines affects the size of future lines. I noticed you also said the low CL on the mtvU card was disappointing. I think this card tends to result in low initial credit lines, because it's a "student" card. Not a big deal though, because the rewards are so awesome. Plus, you can always reallocate credit to it (mine is $10k right now... that's a lot of fast food!) |

I am very impressed that you got the Citi AMEX Platinum card. With that card, you can now use the special link they send you in a letter to sign up for Citi Identity Monitor for free. With Identity Monitor, you can look at your credit report (quarterly pull) and see if there is a delinquency. |

I was going to post in my QS that I think Citi tries to match or come close to your highest line so first-time AORers should reallocate as much as possible but wasn't quite sure how to state it. With regard to the credit limits, AM3X and WAMU were the most interesting ones for me. AM3X gave $1100 (matching my lowest line) and and WAMU gave $2500. But I remember someone with a better credit profile than me (Unbelieeveable maybe?) applied for the WAMU ESPN card and got a low limit, as well. Maybe it's hit and miss? I'm not sure it's income based, though, as my friend, who had no credit when he applied for the card a year ago and is living by himself (meaning low HHI) was approved for $3000 (and I only got $2500). Maybe inquiries are a big deal for them? About HHI, my HHI is ~$200k. It's just my income isn't. Only Wells Fargo specifically asked for my income ($300 a month) and not HHI. Anyway, yeah, good point on the mtvU card. I may reallocate $2000 to it in a year or two (depending on how long I keep the Citi Plat. AM3X card) and $9000 to the Citi Professional card so I can break the $20k barrier on a single card. We'll see. |

Especially the $11k limit. I was expecting to get $8k (the minimum limit for the card) if I even got approved. Thanks for the link, btw. I did find another link on their site and tried registering for it but I wasn't in the system yet. The site said it may take 7 days so I'm going to try again on Monday. |
