**Original offer link is now dead but here are a couple other ways to get offer.**

1. If you have a CC account with chase, first login, then use this link. It should show the offer page and link to apply online. If you refresh this page, a new coupon code should appear if you'd like to give to someone without a Chase CC account (thanks GreedyEbayerApprentice and Squeezer99!)

2. "Jakobeewitz" did some work and listed a bunch of codes near the top of page 2 of this thread if you don't have a Chase CC. (thanks!)

- Please note that the option to order checks is automatic and you will be charged $22.95 unless you call customer service (1-800-935-9935) to cancel the order. (thanks glxpass!)

update: That didn't last long. No mention of the offer on the site now. Fine print mentioned the offer was valid from 2/14/08 through 3/31/08.

Thanks runderwo for the direct phone, took me 3 minutes to cancel, What I did
- contact the check order vendor Deluxe at 1-866-322-1101
- Press 1 for English
- Press 3 for Order status
- Put in routing and account number
- Listen to the status - in process
- Press 0 for CSR

Online application asks if you would like to order checks (ahhh...choose NO!)

Be aware of $3 transfer fee for outgoing ACH pushes, but incoming is free.

TERMS:
"Checking account must remain open for a minimum of six months or the reward will be debited from the account at closing."

As for the account number, if you open account online and have not received your welcome package, it can be found in the SIGNATURE CARD.

Its probably becuase it uses a redirector which will show the origin of the click. Its not hard to block, I dont see it on the chase site after about 10 refreshes

This irritates me. I have a paper for $125 for free checking, with a coupon code, expires 5/31/08. I tried on-line, but it said "coupon invalid", so I called and applied. Everything seemed fine, and Chase confirmed $125 plus some bonus UA miles for their debit card. Then a week or two later, they called and said there was some address problem that they couldn't explain, transferred me to the on-line desk, who said they couldn't help me.

if you increment/de-increment the ID number bu a couple of numbers up or down in the URL you will get the same offer with a different coupon code too, in case that matters.
