I don't think they're pulling personal reports for the biz cards.

Don't be so glum - I haven't had an instant approval for any of my apps in last 20 or so, regardless of issuer.
Remember I currently have an M&T (Elan Bus.) with a BT. Received an instant approval Sunday for 25k on the Illinois State Bank card (Elan Bus). They pulled EQ for that one. Was trying to see how many they give to the same SP. Will report back when I get the letter. Also, over 90% of my cards were instant or pre approved. I get upset when they make me wait!

Edit: Anyone hear of Commerce Bank? Was wondering what kind of CL's they give out. Just received offer today 0%, 12mo and NBTF.

SlimTim thanks for the info. I think I will go for it and request BT's for 15k, 10k and 5k. Let them choose any or all. Do you mind saying what you put down for HHI?

HHI for us is about $160k.

I got that Commerce card & info in the mail yesterday. They sent a form for my requested HELOC BT. It had some wording about "cash advance" so I called to check things out. They said they "had some questions" about this BT, but that doing it from a HELOC or other loan should be fine. And that it would still qualify for the promotional 0% 12 mo 0 fee.

I think on the application they only got issuer name & account number. This one is clearly not a CC, and the form they sent includes payment address and says they'll cut a check. I think that's all there is to the special handling with this request.

Looks like I undershot this one. Applied with an 18K BT and got a 25K CL.

Edit: In case you are interested there are over a hundred differnt banks that offer these Elan cards. It would sure be nice if they let you have one from each bank. I guess i can always dream!

Applied for the Linux card last week with a 17k BT request. Initially got a deferral, couple days later got an email saying my application was accepted, and today my Exp report shows a new 18k tradeline. Hope to raise the CL a bit once I get the actual card to get it under 90% util.

Edit: More application details which might be helpful:
I'm in California, and they pulled my EQ report for the application.
FAKOs around 770, HHI 75k, reports showing ~40k unsecured AOR debt across ~160k total CL.

M&T came back as deferred then APPROVED for 12K after calling in to check status. No BT ... yet!
