I was denied instand approval and then at the bottom of the next page there is an "Add balance transfer" LINK (not the button, the button is for final app submital). The transfer requests the account number, issuing bank, and address. I am assuming this is the same process that is used for instant approval. There was a 15 minute time limit on submitting the application, so if possible, don't spend too much time reading through things. |

So, I can request that they send a check to my bank account still? Wonder how HSBC would respond to getting mailed a check, lol. |

Data point: Applied on the 1st of March Approved on the 4th for $10,400 with BT for 10K. Based on my situation, see below, that is very nice of them. HHI: 30-35K Occupation: Student Scores: 650-730 Questions: 1) Is it worth it to request a CLI upon receiving the card? 2) I requested the BT to my CITI debit card using the address on the citi website. Anyone has had experience with it (timing, glitches, etc)? |

I am sooo clumsy!!!.. after browsering the site for awhile, i decided to apply for the card. However, I accidentally applied for the College card. They approved me for a $1000. It's funny that i didn't even notice that until they called to verify some info, and told me that i'm approved. i'm now still kicking myself. Just summited another application. Hope that they will approve me another. |

Everything went smoothly with my BT. It took about 10 days for my Citi credit card to receive the mailed paper BT check. Too bad they can't process a BT electronically, but it's still worth it to get 0% and $0 fee. |

lhendricks92 said:Called today to attempt reallocation. Apparently my new CL on the Woodforest card is $31K. I requested a $30K BT on the app. Hmmmm.
I asked about reallocation, and the analyst said I would have to fax docs to CLI the Woodforest card. She understood I wanted to reallocate, but perhaps they have a max line on a single card without docs. I faxed personal asset statements. I'm usually happy to provide docs, as I suspect this a good antidote for adverse action. We'll see what happens. When I got my card last week, I saw no signs of the requested reallocation. Sent an online message about it, and today I received a call saying underwriting has approved my reallocation. My new Woodforest CL is now $50K. I immediately did another $20K BT and was assured there would be no fee. |

I did a Mini Biz App O Rama this afternoon and got approved for the M&T and Cambridge Biz Cards from Elan with $10,000 CLs from each(you can read more here). I also applied for a Woodforest App but got deferred. I didn't request any balance transfers with my app as I didn't know Citi's Address information for the BT payment they would have to mail it seems. I will look to try and gain higher CLs when I request BTs on the 2 cards or at the least reallocate them when I receive them. Thanks for the OP and the further information on reallocation success lhendricks92. |

Have people found the consensus is two business cards per ELAN servicer? That is what I get from reading this thread - the third one is deferred. Both of my businesses got approved for two (didn't try a third) - one business both at 7500 and one business both at 15k. |

I'm considering one of the Biz cards and was looking through the online ap On the last page under Applicant statement it says: I authorize Issuer, in determining my eligibility for credit, renewal of credit, and future credit extensions, to verify my employment and income and all other information I have provided, and obtain information about me, including my residence address, from other creditors, credit bureaus, employers, third parties, and federal and state records, including any state motor vehicle department, and waive any rights of confidentiality I may have in that information under applicable law I've never seen the DMV thing before (although Penfed asks how many cars you own) Wonder what the deal is? (Checking your identity or like Penfed how many vehicles you own?)
Only thing holding me back is that I think Elan pulls EX in Cali. |

Data Point: I opened a couple of US bank checking accounts in the past month or two. Each time they offered me a $8k Visa with no hard pull. I refused because they had uncapped BT fees. Applied for M&T business card with a $14.9k BT. No pull on TU or EXP. I don't have access to EQ. It took 6 days to find out the card was approved w/ a $15.5 CL. The CSR said the BT check would be mailed to another creditor on the 18th. Applied late on the 6th. Approved on the 13th. Check mailed on the 18th. More free money! Thanks, OP. |

Another datapoint: DW has 2 Elan biz cards. Both 6 months old, both with 15K CLs, both with balances of $0. DW also has a Baylor personal card. It's also 6 months old with a $25K CL and $17K balance. She recently applied for 1 biz (Cambridge) and 1 personal (LinuxFund). 2 days later she received a phone call from underwriting: "Why do you need so much credit?" Her response, "I'm exploring my credit options." Approved for another $15K biz card and a $5K personal. I will try to reallocate the biz credit; the new personal line is useless. |

More BT information from my AOR thread: So I initiated BTs on both of my new Elan Biz cards(M&T and Cambridge Trust) for $9,600(will pay off $101 on both cards so util for each is at 94.99%) each on the 10K lines I learned a few things -they don't allow reallocation(lhendricks92 was able to but he sent in documents; they did not even mention this being an available option for me) -CLIs aren't allowed for 9 months from account opening -I believe it's best to request a somewhat higher number BT on your app then as reallocation and CLIs are not allowed and it seems they issue a CL of a little over the BT request amount. I'm still happy with my ~19K in 0% BT money from them, but think I might have been able to get 5-10K more if I asked for more on the app. |
