Any thoughts on which Baylor card might offer the highest CL?

Just a word of warning, based on my personal experience with US Bank: Their pre-approved offers apparently don't take into account how many hard credit inquiries you have. I had around TU8, Ex10, and Eq15 a few months into my AOR when I tried to take advantage of the offer, and was denied due to too many inquiries.
OTOH, Chase sent me a pre-approved Chase Professional pre-approved offer at about the same time, and I was approved for that card, with a 20K CL. I even already had a Chase GM Business card. Go figure.

25K is common. DW got the cash reward card last summer, but I doubt which card you pick matters.
I applied yesterday. Found out I was approved today, but the CL is unknown.

In general, I think Chase is less uptight about inquiries than smaller outfits like US Bank.

Applied and got the 7-10 days. Might be related to the EX freeze. Did get the BT request after the decision and entered $30K request.
Will try M&T later today.

Terms for all of these apps say "No Balance Transfer Fees for balances transferred with this application."
Enjoy!
I see the where it says "no blalance transfer fees for balance tranferred with this application", There is also: "Balance Transfer Fee: 3.00% of the transaction amount, $5.00 minimum". Does this mean I'll get 3% charge if apply on the phone? And I will not get the BT charge if apply through the link.
Just would like to verify. Thank you.

no, it means BTs normally have uncapped fees, but they will make an exception if you ask for a BT with the application. i'm sure you could do this over the phone as well as through the link. in fact, i bet you can even wait until you get your card to request the initial BT. YMMV, but US Bank tends to be pretty flexible with BTs.

Is there a geographic area restriction for any of these USB cards? I have read that with some other cards (not necessarily USB), some fatwalleters got rejected because their "address was outside of bank's service area".
Yeah, they are flexible...I did one last fall and the CSR said you had 1-2 months after application....my bt didnt go through with the application since it was higher than the limit they gave me and just called at activation to get the no fee offer...I specifically asked for a higher limit with the bt and it was a no go on my end...I have a 15 month offer from a pre-approval...

Some of the smaller banks, for instance Woodforest, I think won't even let you apply unless you specifiy a site in their lending area.
All 4 links you provided are showing 3% BT fees, $5 min [no max], now.

I checked this week - the no fee deals are back. Some examples:

Anyone know the amount of co-brand cards you can have with Elan? There are a ton of them out there with this offer. Napoleon State Bank Highland Bank

I don't think there is a limit, but most of these banks probably do not lend outside of their service area.

When I spoke to the Elan credit department about my app, I asked about how US Bank's relationships work with these smaller banks. She said US Bank is the lender, and all of the smaller banks are just using their name to market the cards. Bottom line, I don't think you have to be in the smaller bank's lending area - you just need to be in Elan's. For example, I'm not sure why a tiny Texas bank (Woodforest) would lend to someone in Virginia. I could be wrong, and it's probably a good idea to verify before you apply.

excellent finds, 74ak. can anyone find a biz card with a 12 months offer? I looked for 12months biz as well but did not find any, it seems elan has standard offer regardless of the brand, be it Main Source,Provident or Credit Union(why would they even offer business cards for teachers)
I will keep looking though

Will the BT offer let you send a check to your self? Or do you have to have a ballance on an other card that you want to pay down?

FWIW, I called the customer service number on the back of my M&T business card and was told that they don't allow any reallocation or consolidation between 2 M&T cards or M&T and any other Elan business cards. The rep didn't know if it'd be better or not to close the existing business card before applying for a new one. He gave me the number for the Elan applications/credit department and said they might know which is the best way to proceed with an existing account.
Of course what I was told might be completely untrue, but I figured I'd report it anyway. I'd like to know how best to proceed before I apply for another Elan business card.

I could be wrong, but I think I remember this. The M&T Business card would only BT to another credit card and they only sent checks as of July 2007.
On a different note, I just noticed that when my wife applied for the Baylor personal card in August of 2007, I requested a $24.5K BT on the app and she received a $25K credit limit. It was the only line that she received from her 17 card AOR that was over $15K other than $35K from PenFed. Coincidence?

Freezing your ICS/ARS report is possible and will likely remove the large barrier to approval with them.

We were both approved after trying 3 times for each of us (once every 3 months). Every app resulted in the "too many apps at our address" denial. I apped again for each of us after we received a letter back from ARS confirming that they had frozen our files due to our request. (I told them I believed my credit report data had been compromised) It took about 10 days to get confirmation from them. Luckily US Bank pulls EQ for us and I disputed the inquiries off online after each try(this is no longer possible). We were both approved about 2 weeks ago with 0 inquiries showing for US bank and ARS frozen. I got 24K and my wife got 22K on the Linux card. jackcrawfish said: Are/were you a frequent BT arbitrage AOR gamer? Prior to your approvals two weeks ago, had you any prior business with US Bank? No US bank cards in the last 5 years or so because they used to pull EX for me and I avoid those pulls. I think US bank services my Lexus card. I retired early at 23. I live off of interest income now which is low 6 figures annually. I have never ever been asked for financial docs for a credit card. I usually have about 30 on my reports. When my average age starts getting low I just cancel one or more of my 21 y/o AMEX cards and get some new ones since they backdate the new accounts and the ones I closed still contribute to age. I can keep my spouses average age up there too by adding her as an AU to these cards. I can usually get AMEX to pull TU for me. If there is anything I did right as far as credit card arbitration goes it was getting my first AMEX at 18. My spouse is 26, no job, nursing student. We usually keep one of our reports clean and the other dirtied up with arbitrage and rotate every 12 months or so.
eta/ Credit secure fakos all about 774, 776, 778. True EQ fico 746 as of two weeks ago (about 28% utilization right now, when paid off will likely be close to my fako score) I have 380K in CL, Spouse has 220KUPDATE: dl73 reported success in gaining an approval AFTER freezing ICS report. dl73 in linked thread said: Just reporting back my data points on freezing ARS - both my wife and I always got denied by US Bank over the last couple years for what was obviously due to ARS.
After we froze my wife's ARS she then got an instant approval on her first try for a Linux card After we froze mine, I got denied - but it was at least a more conventional reason due to Experian (excessive inquiries) and no longer due to ARS information.
So in my experience freezing ARS can only have a positive effect at least for US Bank applications.
