I'm impressed by the prep work, the useful comments and editing of the original list that's already gone on.
I have just a little to add.
I can't stress enough the beauty of biz credit. I know of no BoA biz offers, but I took markkundinger's advice and applied for one anyway. Within 2 weeks, they sent me 0% checks. My wife has had one for years, they just keep sending offers. National city biz is only 6 months, but they gave me a huge ($50k) line. As always ... YMMV
Depending on your Am3x overall usage/lines/likability I had good luck with the starwood biz card, got a $50k limit, transferred most to my in:LA and BT'd a bunch. Now I use the biz card for everyday and keep my utilization lower.
I like the edited list, but I think there's probably still two too many chase (1p+1b). I did 2 biz and 2 personal and got several calls from Chase before they approved any. Lots of A/A is related to number of new cards as well. I don't think the reward is there considering the risk.
I'd add Compass Bank with 12/$75, they gave me and my wife big lines (not sure if there's a geographic restriction).

Can't wait to see what kind of damage you can do.

Interesting. My experience has been once you apply and are approved, it's too late - the card will show on your report. You were able to do this with Chase AND Citi? Who else? BofA?

Just Citi in A0R1.0 with a Bank of Albuquerque card IIRC. But I think the idea should work in principal with the other issuers, and I'm willing to try it.

Devildoc,

Thanks for the feedback.

I will likely add a BofA biz card back in based on the strength of your and markkundinger's advice.

I will probably pull some more Chase apps, but I'll definitely leave the co-branded cards in.

Was CompassBank easy to work with? If so, I'll add them.

To all who have commented positively, thank you very much.

To all who have expressed good wishes, thank you very much.

To all who have given feedback, thank you very much. FWF is definitely a great resource.

I will make one more pass through the feedback tonight before I fire it off, which will be after my kid's swimming lesson Therefore, the window of opportunity to provide feedback will end at approximately 8:30 p.m. EST tonight.

Compass Bank was easy for me. good luck

Everyone has some very good points, but it does sound like you've thought your *game plan* out also. I'm glad you are trying some new ideas.

I think OP only wanted the kids accounts for the sign-up bonus, not for AOR games, so IRS is a bit extreme.

EDIT:
The banks aren't checking DL #s on apps, just make up a number that matches your state. They ask for that, so when you make a withdrawal and they check your ID they have a number to match with. I don't see your kids going to the bank, RIGHT?

I am reading with interest to see what happens, and 2Cor, you have already rejected the above idea. But I want to say to everyone else that fabricating non-existent DL numbers almost certainly constitutes fraud and may violate other laws as well (such as fake ID laws). In this case, we're not talking about adverse action by some corporate bureaucrat; we're talking potential criminal prosecution and jail time.

Though it might never be prosecuted, juicing household income numbers is also fraudulent. I can't imagine putting down a number that I couldn't back up with documentation under any circumstance.

Let's all remember that the beauty of A0Rs is that we have learned how to play by the rules of the banking system (and to abide scrupulously by the contracts we enter into with banks) in a manner that's maximally advantageous to us. That's beautiful, because most of the time in the world, the banks get the better end of those contractural deals because they set the terms and know how to play within them to maximize their profit in most cases.

We're a group of clever, savvy, upstanding people. Let's not taint that.

Added phases 5 and 6 to the OP.

Phase 5 is a well known trick that I've been planning on and just hadn't put in my post here yet. I'm just documenting it here for posterity.

Phase 6 I'm being oblique about because I don't want to spoon feed newbies and have them get sick. If you've read enough on FWF to know what I'm referring to, then I hope you've also read enough to make an informed judgment as to whether that is right for you or not. Personally I am thinking that may be easier money than the A0R but I need to look into it more.

VanceWade,

Good reminder, and very well put.

There is an ethical line here and staying on the right side of it leads to better sleep.

Now if I can just find out if they'll accept my kids' library cards as ID's...

Library cards, Good one. That's the number I thought I was supposed to put

I can't get over how many UPSTANDING/HONEST citizens we have here, how sweet. Show me the law that says, I must provide my DL to a bank and If the number isn't correct I'll go to jail for fraud. We aren't stealing!

So many people have been brainwashed their entire life, TC says B* is FRAUD. So you better not do that either, I guess doing 30 or 40 apps in an hour isn't fraud either huh? You know what your doing and you still do it.

When people have LIMITED understanding of how the system works, they make STUPID assumptions.

I guess you think **income** is just the number on your pay check right?

I think i'm going to start putting in my lease that *not paying your rent is fraud*, I bet they'll be scared to death and pay early.

Give me 7 hail marries and I might forgive you.

Sorry OP I couldn't resist

SecondCor521, I thought I'd been reading a lot of A0R material in one year, but your statement leaves me wondering.

I'd appreciate a PM from anyone who can fill me in—without spoonfeeding, of course.

bogalusa,

It's not strictly an A0R concept, but it's tangentially related. Sometimes I find it useful to read non-A0R threads as well. Keep reading.

Holy crap! Can I pay you a fee to organize my next A0R? Would you like to start a biz together? I'll be the marketer, you'll provide servicing???

A MAJOR kudos for the details of your 2.0...

This thread, thus far, has an ambiance about it that exudes "STICKY-WORTHY."

Good luck, SecondCor521. I'm not just getting popcorn for this one.... I'll need to invite friends over and have an A0R party... beer, chips, popcorn, BBQ smokies, an all out PIG roast in the back yard..... the whole neighborhood is invited to this one.... welcome friends!

I'm curious about step 6 too and I don't get it. Investing in mortgage REITs?

Heavens no!

So this doesn't become a distracting guessing game, I promise I will post a new thread on Phase 6 if I elect to proceed after investigating further. From now on I'd politely request that this thread be dedicated to Phases 1 through 5.
