We all know about Chase, Citi, Cap 1, Discover, and AM3X. It would be great to have a list of business cards from small(er) banks in one thread. As it stands now on FW, you have to go through hundreds of pages of babble to pluck out little gems of info. It's frustrating.

How about we compile a list of business card links?

Suggested Format (fill in the details you are able to):

Bank Name
Underwriter (not necessarily the same as bank name)
Credit Reporting Agency pulled {TU, Exp, EQ or None - (no Personal Guarantee, PG, needed)}.
Decision Time to approval or denial.
If denied, reason?
Approved Credit Limit
Balance Transfer Fee(?)
APR on Balance Transfers
Other Card Details

Where the card reports (if anywhere).

If you're feeling generous, the details of your business (length of time in business, DnB file, earnings, etc.)

Most recent list follows:

Update this this list as necessary:

Advanta

Associated Bank I know Citi issues the personal card for this bank, but i can't tell if that's true for this Biz card. Also it is only available to residents of IL, WI, IN, MN and MI.

Bank Atlantic Issued by Juniper/Barclays.

BB&T - According to lhendricks92 he didn't need an existing deposit account but made a branch visit to open up this Biz CC.

CNB

Commerce Bancorp As opposed to the other Commerce Bank, this has branches in CT,DC,DE,FL,MD,NJ,NY,PA,VA,and WV as of 3/15/08.

Commerce Bank Commerce has locations in Missouri, Kansas, Illinois, Oklahoma, and Colorado as of 3/15/08 so I would assume applications are limited to that area but this is unconfirmed.

Compass

Fifth Third - Restricted lending area. Confirm before applying. As of 3/13/2008 these States are eligible: FL, GA, IL, IN, MI, MO, NC, OH, PA, TN and WV.

First Equity Application by invitation only.

First National(FNBO)

HSBC

JCB

KeyBank Actually issued by Citibank.

M&I Bank

M&T Issued by US Bank/Elan

National City

Newfield

Platinum America By invitation only and looks very similar to First Equity Business card.

PNC

Provident Bank

Regions Issued by FIA/Bank of America.

State Farm

Suntrust

U.S. Bank Same parent company as Elan which offer alot of Biz cards cobranded from other banks(M&T Bank, Comerica, and Tri-Counties are just 3 examples), though they are the actual underlying issuer of those banks cards so your ability to apply for each of those banks would likely be limited.

Vectra Bank Only available to CO residents.

Wachovia - Wachovia requires a deposit account (personal or business) to apply for a credit card.

Wamu Providian is Issuer

Wells Fargo - Wells Fargo requires a deposit account to apply for a credit card.

Greatly appreciate any info which of these will pull TU/EQ if Experian is frozen.

BankAtlantic and Advanta pulled TU for me.

OP, excellent thread idea, and long overdue.

I'll add Compass Bank.

Might be helpful to list lending areas and other restrictions for these smaller issuers. For example, Wachovia requires a deposit account to apply for a credit card.

I got a Wachovia Biz CC without any business deposit accounts. They even linked this CC to my personal debit card (without asking me!) for the rewards program.

To clarify - you need either a personal or business deposit account with Wachovia to apply for a credit card.

OK-- I think this is a great thread (green for OP) but will be even better if people who actually have one of these cards
list a quick summary of their experiences.

I'll start.

Great thread idea OP.

I added these 2 to the QS:
Wells Fargo Wells Fargo requires a deposit account to apply for a credit card.

BB&T I also believe BB&T requires one to already have a deposit account to apply for a credit card.

Do you have to apply by phone? I can't seem to be able to find a link to apply online nor can I find terms and conditions outside the rewards section.

I was able to open a BB&T biz card without a deposit account, but I had to make a branch visit.

Ah-- you reminded me about Wells Fargo.

That was actually my very first Business card. They kept sending me preapproved offers and I kept throwing them away.
But- they got progressively better.

Finally I bit-- and I ended up with my sweetest card- a combo MC/ BLOC

The interesting thing is that I never had (and do not have now) a Wells Fargo Business bank account.

However-- I have done most of my personal banking there for over 16 years and deposit nice fat Business checks into my WF
personal account every month like clockwork. (I also have PMA & Brokerage)

A live human must have been involved-- a person who reviewed my personal account, saw years of steady Biz check deposits
(with my name on them) and said-- "Hey- let's give this girl a Business CC"

Wells Fargo has actually been very good to me. For a big(ish) bank they have exceptional personalized service.

ETA-- They report to EQ Commercial.

LaJollaInvestor, can you reveal any more data for your two cards (scores,HHI or BizIncome)?

I applied with $210k HHI and scores were all over 730 avg (TrueCredit). I got:
Bank Atlantic - $15k
Advanta - $2.5k (seriously, $2,500 - my lowest CL ever except for HSBC gave me $500-1000 on a personal card once).

I am in process of requesting larger lines. Anyone know if Barclays will shift CL from personal cards to the Bank Atlantic Biz?

$2500 seems to be Advanta's new favorite initial CL. what a joke.

and, yes, Barclays will move personal credit to business. look for the credit dept number in the credit card issuer faq.

Wow, so this is a pretty extensive list but it's not completely up to date as for example it seems the amsouth link is old since it was bought/merged into Regions. Anyways here is the link to the 2 Business Credit Cards Regions offers, which appear to be offered by FIA/BoA and have uncapped BT fees.
Also here's a comparable link for Mastercard's Business Card offerings. I'm going to try and at the least go through these 2 lists and add the relevant information to the QS valid Biz CC's and other details such as if there's another issuer behind it (like BoA for Regions and what looks like Elan on the Comerica Bank and Tri-Counties bank cards).
I also put the QS in alphabetic order.
