I and my wife's adjusted combined 2007 annual income is just over $100k. We both have 401k accounts. Can we also open an IRA?

Can we also open an IRA?Everyone with taxable compensation under age 70 1/2 is eligible to contribute to a traditional IRA. Because of your income and the fact you participate in an employer plan, you won't be able to deduct your contributions.
You are eligible for a Roth IRA (assuming you're filing jointly), which is a better idea for you.
Hooked on google worked for me.
