I realize that App O Rama is an art and I have been trying to compile a list of do's and dont's, learning from the the successes and errors of our peers. I have gathered a fair amount of information, but some questions I have remain unanswered.
Questions
Is it best to have instant approvals or deferred credit approvals (I have seen mixed responses to each type of approval)?
Should all applications be submitted in a single day?
Should all applications be submitted in a single day for one particular bank?
When applying for a business credit card should one use their SS # and apply as a sole proprietor business or would be more beneficial to obtain credit under a federal tax ID number instead?
Some have said that when applying for credit under the business name, the credit issued didn't count against their own PERSONAL credit report. Is this the case if you are applying using a FedTxID, or does it also not show if applying as a sole proprietorship using your own SS#?
I see that Heartland Bank is offering 6% on their checking accounts, unfortunately they only pay the 6% interest rate UP TO $30,000 deposit. I was wondering could I simply establish additional businesses and create new checking accounts for each business with this bank in order to funnel more money in accruing 6% interest with them?
