Like a businesses do anyway, on the 11th month I will pay-off the balance and do a BT for an additional 12 months.
Ahh, thanks for the explanation. I am working on Citi to reallocate from an existing card to my Citi Professional but they haven't done so yet. I'll have to read through my stuff to see if I got the same 12 mos 0% on purchases and BTs. Thats the beuty of CITI, If you can use the 0% on purchases 1st, then you get another 12 months at 0%. I don't care if you have to pay for EVERYTHING your friends and family will buy with cash. Citi will LOVE you for it and I bet that CLR your trying to do will be MUCH easier. |

Win, what impresses me most is that you're somehow able to keep track of all this! |

(I went thru your list and somehow missed it) Almost all my cards that are 0% on BT are 0% on purchases also,,,,,unless I missed something ALL my citi cards are 0% on both. You know it's a big secret!!! I've only been able to find it on my statement if I carried a balance. I can't find it in my login anywhere. ALL my Chase biz/prof. cards are 0% on purchase and BTs also. I do remember seeing 1 or 2 of my accounts that are not 0% on purchase but I can't remember which ones right now. I know my chase ups/prof targeted offers where about 4% less than chase.com where showing. Maybe it's because I churn their money instead of just sitting on it. No way to really know, my credit score was sub 700 when I got those offers. So I know it wasn't because of a good FICO. EDIT: Woops my citi biz PP isn't 0% on purchase, that was 1 of the ones that aren't. I'm gonna have to look deeper. It's not always easy COLBY citi platinum select 0% purch and BT 2 CITI biz card 0% on purchase and BT more citi cards 0% on BT and purchases |

I then shorted a silver ETF (it is basically the price of silver) so my silver risk right now is ZERO. When I recieve the silver I will auction off the silver on eBay or sell it to a metals exchange. After I get the MARKET price, I will then cover my short position (exit my hedge trade). That works because the price rose after your purchase and you locked in the profit. As you did not hedge at the time of purchase your investment was at risk. There's also the problem of matching the quantity of the ETF to the amount of silver you're selling, if not selling all of it at the same time. Also the market price you get with dealers is subject to buy/sell. |

I checked my Citi Pro Cash and Citi Associated Bank and they are both 0% on BT for 12 months but standard APR on purchases. Looks like a YMMV or I went after the wrong deals (or a little bit of both). I'll make sure to look out for the Citi deals for my WOR later this year. I did have a Chase Freedom card from a year ago that was 0% on BT and purchases. |

There's also the problem of matching the quantity of the ETF to the amount of silver you're selling, if not selling all of it at the same time. Also the market price you get with dealers is subject to buy/sell. I said I had the risk whenever I buy, BUT I AM A TRADER with alot of experience. I also buy at a discount when I buy, I am not buying at the ASK PRICE. COME ON!!!!! I've made about 20 buys of various things at a discount when the market has THE BEST CHANCE TO MOVE UP. See where I said the best chance. I know what I'm doing, i've been trading for 25 years. Making a few % is EASY but most people want to make a killing. I do not recommend this TO ANYONE, but like I said this can be done with anything that you buy in quantity at a discount and sell retail individualy. This is what businesses have done for a few 1,000 years. Instead of looking for the bad, just try watching. For example I bought something 2 days ago at a 10% discount and I can see what they sell for on eBay EVERYDAY. So I know I'll get my profit out of it. But I also locked in a few % profit to take care of processing fees. So even if silver dropped 10% I would still break even. There is no reason this can't be done with ANY ITEM, buy it cheap enough and your guaranteed a profit. |

I screwed up the other night!!! I pulled my reports with Creditchecktotal and then I thought, let me see if I can pull it again instantly after I just did. Without thinking I hit the send button, CCT said "if you pull the same report again you'll see the same info". So I thought " No big deal". Then I logged into AMEX and clicked refresh my report, I got the "if you pull the same report bla bla bla". I thought, OH crap I guess thats a NO NO!!!! Then I logged into TC, or TRIED TO LOG INTO TC. I got the message: To protect your identity BLA BLA BLA OOPPPSSSSsss!!!!! So I might be booted, I think I'll just wait it out instead of calling them. I think me pulling my reports within the SAME MINUTE might have set off a BIG RED FLAG!!!! ******EDITED, NOT BOOTED********* Oh well, I have to many services anyway. It takes me atleast 30 minutes to pull all of them. I expect if I am booted, pm123/chaseidentity/nationalcity will all follow. I activated my new HSBC account and they where trying to sell me CREDITKEEPER. So we'll see what happens, there is more than TU out there USbank did another INQ yesterday on my EQ report, not sure for what. No word yet, I try not to call to much and just let them decide what they are going to do. Still waiting on alot of apps CITIbiz/Chase/USbank/and some others, it's hard to keep track of. I'm remodeling properties, running my trading business, building credit for new businesses, moving money around all over the place, waiting for payments, collecting rent, doing pay roll and playing on FWF. Forgot to mention, eating and sleeping |

I got an alert from TC, so I tried to login and it worked. So false alarm, I'm sure glad I didn't call Looks like CBUSA/CB pulled a hard on EQ today, I'm thinking thats chase but not 100% sure. Back to TC I got locked out of my brothers TC account for to many tries with the wrong password last month. It said to call, but I just waited a few days and it let me back in. I can't help but wonder if you call TC and get a CSR looking at 4 million softs on your credit report, that it might actually cause someone to start questioning the activity. So I would suggest to NEVER EVER call TC for ANY REASON! |

CBUSA = CitiBank USA I just got a hard from them today. I'm 99% sure it is for the (Citi) Associated Bank card. It is from Wilmington, DE, so this would make sense. I applied for 3 Citi cards as part of a mini-AOR, including this one. My other two Citi apps got CITI/CBSD (which I know is CitiBusiness) and CITI (which I am assuming is the CashReturns card). |

FYI: CBUSA = Associated Bank for me. Credit Keeper, pretty sure you can only pull a new report once a month. |

Associates huh? Yep I did 1 of those apps. The CB/usa had me guessing, I'm surprised they pulled because my EQ was frozen when I applied. I figured I'd be getting a letter to unfreeze. Although after I got approved for the cashreturns card citi email me and asked me if I wanted a citi plat plus biz card. I guess it could be that, but I was thinking there might not be another pull since the email gave me a deadline to answer the email. Just pulled CCT again and they're showing the INQ as citibank USA, I hope it's associates bank. I'm getting tired of waiting EDIT: After reading Stook2001 Citi A/A, maybe i'm not tired of waiting

Some of the other links look good. Also, any card is 0% on purchases if paid off every month, e.g. used to buy things that can be sold quickly. (Obviously that carries some risk depending on experience.) |

Yep you hit it on the head, I don't need all of my accounts to be capped fees since i'm running volume thru the cards. To busy now/stressed but good news rollin in, I'm doing so many things at once.

Maybe the hards for apps are different from the AR softs? Anyhoo.. don't mean to confuse, just thought I'd throw out the data point. |

I got a letter in the mail from crap1, "your approved for 5,000" that makes 1 for each business. I think I will just keep applying for more crap1 cards every 45 days like clock work and see what happens. Chevy chase bank called today and left a message to call between 8AM and 9PM. So I called at 8:30 PM, The CSR read the notes and said the other CSR approved for 15,000 since they couldn't reach me. I didn't ask about the biz card. You know what they say, "patients is a vertue".
Total so far is 142K. |
