I logged in today and got 100 bonus point. First login of the year, not sure what would be the frequency to get it again.

Yeah, a little more information on this one might be nice.
Wouldnt it be common sense to assume that he/she logged into Thankyou.com?

I just logged in there and didn't receive anything. 
why all the red? 100 Thank You points is worth, like $1.00. Two dollars if used for travel. With the dollar so strong, that'll buy you, like, a whole cup of coffee.

1. How do I get ThankYou Points?
There are several ways to get ThankYou Points:
(1) you can earn points via a Sponsor Account (i.e., a participating Citi® credit card, an enrolled Smith Barney Financial Management Account(FMA) with an activated FMA Card, an eligible Citibank® checking account with a linked debit card or an Expedia.com® Account);
(2) you can also get points for purchases when you use our "Get Points for Shopping" benefit either online through ThankYou Network or in-store using a participating Citi® credit card;
(3) ThankYou Members may also get bonus points through special ThankYou Network promotions; and
(4) you can also purchase ThankYou Points in increments of 1,000 points for just $25. Your purchase may not exceed a maximum of 30,000 points per calendar year, or the amount needed to offset any PremierPass Flight Points.
