Not sure about the first two, but the disappearance of the TU inquiries has happened to a few people. They should come back. See here and the following replies.

- Chase ID Protection won't update my report. Acts like it's updating, but re-displays yesterday's report. - PM123 went through the motions of reporting, and then redisplayed yesterday's report (and won't let me update until tomorrow, just to twist the knife). - TrueCredit updated OK, but yesterdays TU inquiries from Juniper and Discover vanished. - Credit Check Total agrees with TrueCredit in re: TU.
Any thoughts? Maybe I pulled Chase ID Protect a few too many times yesterday and ticked off TU?
As far as PM123 is concerned, it is a recent bug. After you update, logout, then log back in again and you'll see your updated report. This might work for your other report also.

Thanks for the tip, worked like a charm on PM123. Something else is going on with Chase. Guess I'll have to try tomorrow.

National City inquiry showed up on TransUnion. That covers everyone. Locking up TU tomorrow... maybe tonight. Might lock up EX, still thinking about that.

You can just logout and login again after pdating PM123 and you'll see today's report (known bug) TU inquiries disappearing for a day or two is also known -- they'll be back (sadly).

Chase ID Protect suddenly sprang to life.
Anybody else using this (www.chaseidprotection.com) and is their business of "unlimited" credit report pulls honest or is it just putting on a show (and only pulling once a day)?
Separately, the 4-inquiry hit on EQ took its FICO down from 717 to 706.

Called Discover. They wanted employer name/number and some ID verification questions answered. $12K. Had asked for $22K of BT with this. Looking forward to some funky math.

I use it. You only get a distinct pull once a day. You may get an alert at any time during the day, but only one pull per day. Unlike TrueCredit, it doesn't tell you that; it just shows you the old report.

Anyone have an app status check phone # for M&T *Business* (the one in the app status check thread appears to be personal - it can't find my app)?

US Bank (Baylor) says 3-5 days for a decision. Don't have a working number to call for M&T. Chase is still giving the 7-10 days automated message. Looks like it's a waiting game on these three.

Froze EX. CCT is still out of whack with respect to properly showing inquiries (it hides some and invents some) but its alerts are accurate - I think. Updating QS.

Called National City - DECLINED due to new accounts and excessive inquiries. Guess I had to lose at least one. But this is a good data point on how sensitive they are - they were the last to pull TU, and they saw 5 inquiries besides their own. 2 were from late March and 3 were from 4/21 (day of the AOR). All new accounts were from 2nd half of 2007. I would say this card is one to AOR for after accounts have aged 12 months.

This might have been for the best anyway. I got a letter stating they needed more info, same as Cashmonkey. I had to take my driver's license, social security card, three months of utilities, and three paystubs to my local bank, who faxed them to Nat City. All this for a 10K CL.

Maybe I should have grabbed the WAMU instead, though the lack of ability to CLI put me off. I wonder what their pain points are? Maybe I should grab one while I have AWOL TU inquiries?

And - Juniper personal account showed up on EX. 2 days. Wow.

Updated QS with summary stats on apps, including aggregate CL from AOR.
Taking votes - should I attempt to throw a WAMU on this pile via TU hard pull or call it a done exercise?

Other than SecondCor, who was surprised by his $15kCL, I don't think too many others have reported a decent CL. Not sure it would be worth it.

Got online access to Associated Bank account. No CLIs are going to be coming out of the new Citi accounts:
Thank you for your request. Your account must be open for at least 6 months before we can consider granting a Credit Line Increase. You'll receive written confirmation of this message within 7 to 10 business days. During this evaluation, a credit report was not pulled on your account. Thank you for using our website. Based on "due date" showing, this account will not report to the CBs until late May.
I think I'll be getting 3 Citi's for the wife - Assoc, Pro Cash, and Biz - dance them for a year, request CLI's, then take advantage of the 12 month deal after using them for 11 months and hope they give a nice CLI. Thanks for the info on no Citi CLIs within 6 months.

Thanks for the info on no Citi CLIs within 6 months. Glad it was helpful. Your strategy looks a lot like mine. I intentionally capped my Citi apps at 2 pers and 1 biz, figuring I might get nailed at 4 and have them whack all my lines, and I won't be touching their BT options until month 11.
I am trying to decide, however, whether and how to CLR at Citi - I know I want to get my Citi Pro $1500 into something else. I wonder if I can move it by way of conversion to a Diamond Preferred (see Citi Pro thread) over to the Associated?
I'm putting the Citi PP on my list for 6-12 months from now - looks like they might cough up some higher CL on that card. My Citi Pro (no Cash or TY) came through at $7500 last year, it was my first Citi app.
Separately, glad I didn't blow an inquiry on the Discover Business:
EugeneV said: In other developments, I was told by a CSR that Discover would approve at most 1 app per 10 months (at least if you already have a Discover card), including business cards. Thus, my Discover Miles application was cancelled.

I'm not too sure about the Citi CLRs. I was told you can do it if you keep trying, but I think the bucket thing is getting in the way. Citi Assoc, Citi Pro, Citi Biz, and Citi Other all seem to be in different buckets. I've read that some people have success moving with Citi Biz but they have to call the Biz associates instead of the Personal ones. I tried to reallocate with my Citi Pro and they never got back to me about it. I figure I'll dance it for 11 months and CLI and BT on that one too. At least Citi has provided us a way to hedge for the future. Thanks for the idea; forgot to mention it early.
In other news, I was waiting for the wife to get a Discover More 0% for life deal in the mail. Well, we got a Discover offer yesterday and it was something lame like 0% on purchases unil Nov 08, 3.9% on BTs until Apr 09. Oh well. I think I'll shoot for 6 in the WOR - Citi Assoc, Citi Pro Cash, Citi Biz, CostCo Biz AM3X, US Bank Linux, and some rewards card that comes with 2 free plane tickets. I'll have to look around for the last one cuz these don't seem to be too prevalant anymore. Guess I'll be starting a new thread soon.

- Consider the AMEX SimplyCash business card. I love mine. 5% off gas, 1% off everything else, and a few other things thrown in. Would be curious to know what has you looking at the CostCo AM3X.
- You may want to cross-check the US Bank Linux. I think I tossed that one out in favor of the Baylor because the Linux card had a $75 BT fee cap, including BT at app time. I gather from other AORs there is some flexibility about "app time." I also gather that my experience being deferral-limbo with them is not unique.

Geez. If I wasn't freaked about AM3X FR I'd grab that Costco. Maybe I'll hold it for the next round along with the Citi PP.
Wonder what the APR is on the CostCo AM3X... my SimplyCash is pushing prime (last statement was 5.98%).

US Bank wants to review business bank statements to make a decision on both the business (M&T) *and* the personal (Baylor) app. They also want my mortgage statement, even though my mortgage is right there on my credit report.
How annoying.
Note to readers - don't apply for these at the same time. They will get tangled up with each other. Also - if you do not have an EIN (i.e., you are a sole prop on SSN) they will request business bank statements. And - I got asked whether I was a Baylor alum and if not, why I was applying for a Baylor card.
I'm not really interested in sending them business financials right now - I think I'll cancel the bus app, and let them close the personal one on their own. Will find some other business app to throw out there once I achieve b*.

3 weeks ago I was approved for M&T, WoodForest, and Baylor with no probs. I received the cards about a week after applying and never got a call from anyone. I even got a small CLI on the M&T when I called in for the BT.

Interesting.
From the sound of things, there was some issue verifying my address - I have no idea what - unless it has to do with business credit reporting? I don't have tabs on that side, and I moved last summer.
But at any rate, looks like once they got to questioning the business app they pulled my personal app into the mix. That was purely a human call - bad luck for me.
More bad luck - my human seems to have some lapses. I knew it was not good when she didn't know what a trade name registration was, and when she asked me for articles of incorporation for my sole proprietorship(!)

Got the decline letter for Chase Business. They pulled TU as noted. 3 reasons listed for decline:
- Insufficient history of credit information is reported (ok, low average age, got it) - Too many accounts with high balances compared to credit limits (I think I know what they're looking at here) - Past due history on one or more accounts (huh???)
Just to be sure, I pulled all 3 of my reports and not a past due in sight. I am going to ask Chase underwriting who they think I was past due with on Monday.
At any rate, posting this so the data can be used as a reference point for Chase Biz.

Updates for today:
- Another TU inquiry bites the dust. All that's left on TU is the five from the AOR. I was pulling via TC every day before signing up for the "pile 'o services;" I suspect this is why I've met with success here.
- Called Discover and had them cancel all BT activity so I don't jump to $500 below my CL (based on what was on the app).
- Called Chase and asked them about the "past due history." They couldn't see any. Analyst suspects it was a typo. Interesting note - she did say that the only thing she saw that would cause an issue with the app was that I had balances on a number of credit cards. My take-away is that Chase is slightly more sensitive on that point, at least with business cards. Also of interest - both this analyst and the CSR I spoke with on Saturday noted that I had recently opened a personal Visa with them. Their tone suggested that they wondered why I was applying for another card so soon, though they didn't ask about it.
