Unless you have a pre-existing relationship like insurance with them, it's unlikely you'll get approved or if you do, the lines are small and not worth the 3 bureau pull

and then they deny you!! Tried the card as part of my AOR and now think that it is not worth 3 pulls unless there is a compelling reason to get this card.
I have different expereince than you guys. I currently have auto and house insurance with StateFarm. I only got one TU pull and got the card. I know somone else also only got one TU pull and got the card(He has auto with StateFarm, too). I am with 15k while he got 25k. I consider that kind of CL is ok to good. Neither he or I have account with StatrFarm bank or CC before. All we have are auto and house policy with StateFarm. So I think 3 pulls may only happen to who is not current StateFarm customers. And low CL? I think it's just YMMV.

Yes, that's a real risk. AOR folks should know that the 2nd and/or 3rd could come 8 days later. But some good news: they only pulled TU for me (March 20), and I am NOT a State Farm customer. (Though my wife does have a card; not sure if that matters. It's NOT an "AU".) Luck? A new policy?

Not true. I just got $15K, my wife got $9K last year. What is true: don't do them late in an AOR. I posted on this earlier in the year but can't find it at the moment. (With all the new features at FW, maybe it's a good time for anyone who wants better search to speak up to the powers that be. I did.)

Juggler, My experience matches that of Hindustani. However, your post suggests that there might have been a policy change. I recall State Farm was giving generous credit lines to those who ended up getting the card 12-15 months ago. Would you mind sharing the state and, if possible, zip code that you put on the application. I think I might be interested to spend a TU inq. on a shot to get their card. Thanks.

here's a tip on getting this card as part of your A0R.
you must apply for this card, 1 day before the rest of your A0R applications. it takes the monkeys at StateFarm 1 day just to process your online application, it is NOT an instant approval system. so give it one day and the credit pull(s) from StateFarm will hit the same time as the rest of your A0R applications.
and last warning, only apply for this card if you are willing to take multiply credit pulls. these bastards pull 4, yes 4 reports, for a single application in May, 2 TU, 1EQ, 1EX.
data points. was not a State Farm customer previous to this CC. CL issued after 4 pulls = $12.5K
