i noticed the citi cashreturns 5% for 3 months disappeared from their site.
they now have another offer with 20% bonus on your Cash Back at the end of the year.
if anyone still wants the other offer you can get it at cardoffers.com
i dont know how long it will last but i just signed my wife up for it as my 3 months are coming to an end

Noticed that too. Applied thru Card-offers at lunch today - and noticed about 30 mins ago that the 5% offer was gone from the Citi website.
As they say..."All good things come to an end...". I hope the Mktg folks at Citi will come up with an equally good or better offer...

Yes it looks like they are now marketing this 20% bonus version, which is really a poor version of a 1.2% card. Good that the link still works, for now anyway.

ETA: It no longer works. Instead, see the first post in the DYING...Citi CashReturns MasterCard - UNLIMITED 5% cash back for 3 months thread, which IMO makes this thread unnecessary.

I applied for the card on 4/14/08 and went through a link that still showed the 5% promo good for 3mos.
I've been charging about $3000 of stuff over the past month and upon my first bill, it show's just the 1.2% in their current promo. So instead of $300, I got ~$72. Ouch!
Anyone have luck arguing with Citi in getting the 5% promo offer? or perhaps past offers?

The math is a little off here. 5% off of $3000 is $150. 1.2% off of $3000 is $36, which if you double it, is $72, or 2.4% off, heh.
