Is there any benefit to hire a CFA or I'll better off with Low cost funds or ETFs?

There is no straight answers. Depends which stocks you choose or which adviser you land to.
If you choose to go through Adviser path do your home work.

Also do some research about your adviser on internet. There are few place you can look for his past performance. Link

It may take as much knowledge to wisely pick an advisor as to wisely pick the investments themselves.

DALBAR, which may serve mostly the interests of advisors, says investors do better with advisors than on their own, but the only reason I can think of is that investors who go through advisors
probably leave their investments more alone and simply add money to them, while DIYers may be more prone to chasing after the hottest investment of the moment, thereby buying high and selling low. But other studies say the opposite, which makes sense because DIY is slightly cheaper.
