I received a letter in the mail:

Get a $10 statement credit when you make 3 blink purchases (by June 6, 2008).

See chaseblink.com for locations that accept blink ("wave card in front of the secure reader to complete your purchase"). It looks like this only applies to Chase Freedom Visa cards (not sure if they have a Mastcard version). No signup link.

I know it's small potatoes but...

Targeted?

Yeah, this is a targeted offer. I received almost the identical thing, except for instead of a $10 statement credit it had a $5 off $25 OD coupon and a free Arby's roast beef sandwich if I bought a medium fries and medium drink using Blink.

I received the $10 after 3 purchases using blink on my 2 freedom cards.

I only received it on one of my two (I actually only applied for one but due to a browser glitch I got two along with two $100 bonuses so I'm not complaining).

Thanks for the info. I know the Meijer near me has the Blink/PayPass keypad.

I got the $10 offer, but the only places around here that have it are 7-eleven, Tully's, Jack in the Box, and McDonalds, which are places I never go because they cost too much and offer too little...

(Cheap lunch x 3) minus $10 -> free lunches or make money.

I also only got 7-11, McDonalds, and CVS. I wonder if any of the 7-11's have gas pumps? I could do my three transactions right there.

Brilliant! One of mine does. The gas is more than I'd otherwise pay, but at least I can buy as little as I want

I got a letter on my wife's Freedom card that offered 1000 points or $10 Cash Back for the 3 blink purchases. I'm all for anything that gets us to the $200->$250 upgrade sooner! For us, the 3 purchases will actually be worth $12.50, though we will have to wait a few extra months to claim it.

If you don't go anywhere that has blink, just stop by 7/11 for 3 candy bars (paying for gas at the pump won't work, since it won't use the blink chip).

Is the $200->250 upgrade still available? The last time I checked it wasn't there.

It's still showing on our account when I go to the rewards details. It shows two options 50-50 and 200-250. If I go the the redeem rewards page, it shows it as an option, but I can't add to cart because we don't have enough Cash Back built up yet.

It's still available, I just received a $250 check about two weeks ago. Make sure you check out their CB site https://www.rewardsplusshopping.com, they have decent percentages and it goes into your CashBack account, effectively making the percentages higher if you hold out for $200.

Let me know if that works. I'm not sure if the Blink would work at the pump or only inside the store. Obviously this would be the easiest way to get in my 3 transactions if I could do it at the pump.

I just got the post card. I have a 0% BT on the card, but I guess 3 small transactions will incur a much smaller finance charge than the $10 bonus I would get.
