I don't come here often but I have read through some posts and saw a lot of "shorthand" which I didn't really understand, being that I'm also not the most finance-savvy.

Let's say I have the following:

Signature Loan = $6000
Visa = $600
AMEX = $2900
Student Loan "A" = $2000
Student Loan "B" = $5000
__________________________
Total = $16,500

I'd like to consolidate these figures on to one (1) loan, credit card, whatever else is available, and just make one large payment. I can find all sorts of balance transfer cards for the most part, but I need to be able to find one that can have a $18,000 minimum line open, accept a balance transfer from multiple mediums, like a signature loan, credit cards, student loans etc...and ideally have some spiff like 0% for the first year.

Any suggestions as to a "service" that could do this or where I could begin looking?

Can I ask why you want to consolidate? And what are the interest rates on the different credit cards and loans?

I can assure you all the answers you seek are on this forum. You are already in the right place.

Asuming that you have decent credit and income, 18K shouldn't be too hard to get. Read the AOR FAQ and look at what some other people are doing. You might only need to open 3 chase cards to get the cash you need. Do business cards if you can to keep them off your credit report.

I am looking to consolidate for a few reasons:

1) I heard that keeping a signature loan as long as I have is not necessarily a good thing on my credit report
2) Paying 6 different bills each month is no where as convieniant as just 1
3) On that same note, I would like to pay well past more than required on the conglomerate instead of just over minimums
4) I'm considering a new vehicle...mostly because I have to...and you can see why that would be reason...

I looked at that AOR faq. It's a good resource...I will keep trolling through it. I am gathering the interest rates right now.

Signature Loan 5991.57 15.75%
Student Loan “A” 5500 7.22%
Student Loan “B” 2860 total
(Stafford) 1168 6.8%
(Citi Assist) 1692.16 14.25%
American Express 2838 27.99% --> 12.24%
Visa 590.1 10.95%

I apologize for the horrible formatting of this. It just took me 1.5 hours trying to assemble all this info...
