So my buddy was telling me about this thing...Money Merge? It's this program...somehow pays off your mortgage in 1/2 the time?

I said call the scambulance, but i guess he's had experience with them and he says he has 8 years left on what should be 19...and after watching the movies i'm doubting. They take a while but potentially owning my place in 14 years instead of the 28 left is worth the look right? Supposedly other countries have been using this stuff for years, is it genuine? Or another Scientology? (World-Spanning Scam)

Thoughts? Or do i just need more sleep/coffee?

There's an entire thread here about money merge accounts - search under MMA, UFF, etc and you'll easily find it.

In a nutshell, paying for the software is a huge scam because there isn't anything the software can to that you can't do on your own - if you want to pay off your mortgage early, send in extra payments.

ETA - of course Ellory beat me to it and was nice enough to provide a link (I was lazy)
