My children's daycare have started accepting payments by credit card for a nominal fee. Would like to take advantage of this payment option. Please advice of any credit card that has the best Cash Back for these purchases. I will be spending around $1700 a month for daycare. Thanks very much.

What is this nominal fee?

$1700 a month for daycare? damn!

Does daycare include a bonus for "daddy"?

We were in the same position (thankfully, 8+ years of daycare expenses are about to be over for us as my youngest moves on to first grade). We opted for the Fidelity 529 card. It pays 2% of all charges (up to a total of $1500 per year) into a Fidelity 529 college account. Though not exactly "Cash Back," I think this is the best deal going in terms of reaping benefits from charging.

If the nominal fee is the key. If it's like 3%, I would just pay cash.

But that includes happy endings from the baby sitter.

Is there something that goes on at my kids' daycare center that I need to know about?

Although unless you were grandfathered in, the best you can get from a new Fidelity 529 card now is 1.5%.

I charge my daycare expenses to my Orchard 2% card (which I think is still available to new applicants), although they typically give small initial credit lines so you might have to make several mid-cycle payments. My initial line was $1000, but they were nice enough to auto bump it to $1400 after 6 months giving me a little more breathing room.
