My Geico credit card, formerly from Merrick Bank, got acquired by New Millennium Bank. I assume this is an entirely different bank than Millennium Bank. Right?

ive had a cd with them for a few years now. just realized within the last couple of months that they are an overseas bank. im currently in iraq right now so not much i can do about my cd but once i get home im pulling it out. the bank when u walk in is diffently not a typical bank. i should have realized that from the start. on the other hand the bank seems to be running normally. my interests and statements have came and they have not locked the doors at the richmond bank so my wife tells me
