Then two months in, they said they were "unable" to charge my credit card to renew for the month so my service was suspended at the 9.95 rate. But if I give them a new card # they'll set me up at 14.95/month. I said "Stuff It". I'll just go to credit secure or something else similar. heh... I got the same excuse when my account stopped working after 30 days. I was told to wait seven days and re-enroll with the same $9.95 link though. I haven't tried yet. |

Those who are banned-- how many consecutive days of daily pulls were you able to get before they banned you? I just signed up nearly two weeks ago and now have 11 consecutive days fo daily pulls. |

I signed up for my wife today. She was on Privacy Matters 1-2-3 for a bit until the cancel membership method didn't work to get the $19.95/year deal, despite e-mails between PM-123 and me. So I gave up. This was a few months ago. I just used her PM-123 sign-on information and True Credit accepted it for the $9.95/month deal. As has been noted before, PM-123 is just a wrapper for TC. So far, I much prefer True Credit over Privacy Matters 1-2-3. The latter gives you the 3-in-1 credit report and your score with analysis. It doesn't have True Credit's Trending module, which allows you to compare various items like credit scores, total debt, debt-to-income ration, etc. over time. Pretty impressive compared with PM-123; I can't speak for other products such as Credit Secure. |

I signed up again as well. $9.95 again. I'm expecting a non-renewal at 30 days though. |

hoxbox said:I used to be on TC with WalMart $11 plan. Then they raised the price to $14 without any justification and you cannot get a refund. I canceled my TC and never looked back. I suspect they will rake you in with $9 plan then sneakily raise the price a few month later, hoping you won't notice.

Same problems here: I was on the $11.21/month WalMart plan since beginning or so of 2007. Just recently, there was a "glitch in the billing system" that caused my account to suddnely "not renew" and the only way to fix it, I was told (after calling them multiple times and being given the Special Services Corporate Line) was to cancel the account fully and then sign up at the current $14.95 / month rate. I told them to shove it. If interested, the entire "story" here: TrueCredit.com Problems? I may sign up using the $9.95 link just to spite them. All I wanted was the $11.21 / month rate reinstated ... maybe I'll take this and they can lose money on me, instead. |

I went through this. $9.95 for a month, non renewal because of card denial. Started back up after a month at $9.95 again. Haven't been 'non renewed' again yet though. Won't be surprised when they do it though. |

Like others, my account at the $11.21 WalMart price stopped working without explanation. Just signed up at the $9.95 rate. Go figure... |

After 5-6 months of not using this service I recently resinged up again for $9.95/month I could not refresh my report on 12/01/2008 and their technical support could not resolve that issue, so... $9.95 subscribtion was "kindly" cancelled for me yesterday, and they emailed "free" gift certificate w/o additional details ... they could not answer what is it free that they give me Anyway when I clicked on the link and followed on-screen instructions to sign up, it was $14.95 per month. |

I think TrueCredit just stopped everyday pulls and changed it to once every 30 days. Although they left an option where you can see changes. Can someone else confirm that? |

I'm seeing the same thing and I wasn't doing daily pulls. They sent out a survey within the last few months asking about service changes. I guess based on the responses they felt they could go in this direction with the product. |

Looks like it for me and my wife!! Strangely, I got the same time stamp (Jan 16th). It is time to cancel TC, though I have to check soft first. May be, just may be, it still hits TU and EQ credit reports... |
