You have three credit reports, and they aren't necessarily the same.
There are three national bureaus that independently collect information about you. When determining your ability to pay back a loan, many lenders examine all three credit reports.
with a year of 3-Bureau Credit Monitoring, you could be in a very different place next year. And it’s only $9.95 a month — that’s a $5 savings off the regular price, every month! You’ll:
• stay informed with credit information from ALL 3 bureaus • get peace of mind with anytime access to your credit data • safeguard your identity with fraud protection
Yeah, only a dollar more than Nat. City Identity Protect, and since Key bank service is up to $12.95/month, this is nice. I have a hard time diving in on this deal with my PM123 subscription paid until November, though...
I cancelled TC last month; that monthly rate was $11.21 (thru WalMart.com, I think). Since then, I've gotten 2 emails from them, each offering 30 free days w/ $11.95 thereafter.
Even though for me the monthly rate difference will be only $1.26, I'll be interested in seeing whether I ever get the email you got. How long ago did you cancel?
bogul, I'm jealous that they send you trial offers being a past customer. I've gotten plenty of please come back, but never with 30 days free. I guess they're just not that into me.

Awesome post. Thank you so much, that will help the wallet a little bit. I canceled the service before because I was tired of them trying to sell me more crap every time I wanted to pull a new report. But, now that its time to search for a mortgage... this is the best deal out there. No matter how annoying the service is.

Good point. I'll have to follow up with them by phone later this evening.
I received the e-mail offer for this, but I've never had TrueCredit. I've only pulled reports from TU for the standard reasons.

I was a previous member from years ago. This is the order screen I get:
Simply choose:
[ ] TransUnion Credit Monitoring: $11.95/mo Includes unlimited access to your TransUnion Credit Report & Score
[ ] 3-Bureau Credit Monitoring: $9.95/month Includes unlimited access to all 3 of your Credit Reports & Scores! No obligation, cancel anytime.
lol, I think I'll go with the single report for $11.95...

How were you able to upgrade as an existing paying member? When I go to that link and sign in, I am just taken to a regular report screen, it does not say anywhere that I was upgraded, nor does it give me any options. Do I have to cancel first?
Thanks!

I canceled the service a few months ago, but they retain your account (which is news to me).
I clicked on OP's link, logged in, clicked "your credit" on the top nav, then clicked the orange ORDER NOW button.
mrPete said: I canceled the service a few months ago, but they retain your account (which is news to me). Yeah, this is annoying, and is why once you sign up for a trial offer, you can never do a trial offer again. I called them once and asked to have my online account removed, but there is no way to do so.

And the same offer as the one the OP got just hit my In box...

I got in some deal about 2 years ago for all 3 reports and have been paying $7.46 since then... that was a great deal. I think it was through a Wal Mart link or something.

I had the WalMart $7.46 deals for a long time and they just closed my account all of a sudden for daily pulls. I never signed up to them again. Have things changed recently?

I'm still pulling, just not every day. More like 3 or 4 times a week and have not had any problems so...

Was able to speak to a live person last night. Verified that any current customers that were able to snag this deal, will only be charged $9.99 from that point going forward. Not a bad deal at all.
It doesn't seem to work for me. Just get a screen that they can't extend me this offer when I log in.
TC canceled my account a few months back for excessive pulls.
I still don't see how they get away with advertising unlimited pulls from all three bureaus and then cancel your account if you do it 3-4 times a week which was what I was doing on average.
Anyone got a recomendation or link for something else?
TrueCredit doesn't show my Equifax payment history, so I'm thinking the score that it's showing is innacurate. This is the second day it's happened now.
Is anyone else having this problem?

I think that problem would be from Equifax and not from TrueCredit. Did you request a report directly from Equifax?
You might have to dispute with Equifax to update your account information.
HERE IS THE SCOOP IF YOU'RE A CURRENT CUSTOMER OF TrueCredit (USING THE $14.95 PLAN), AND WANT THE $9.95 PLAN:
First, logging on after clicking on the link just dumps you into your account. It doesn't change your rate.
I just called them up saying I got an e-mail about the $9.95 plan, and would like that instead of my current $14.95 plan. The customer service person said that he can't just switch me or immediately cancel my account and start it up again, to get that rate. What he said he needs to do is cancel my account. I then have to wait seven to 10 days once everything in the cancellation gets processed, then I use the link again to sign-up (same username and password). So I told him to go ahead and cancel. After he did that I pulled one more of the three-credit-bureau reports (it still works), but I expect that to be disabled shortly. So the week after next I'll be using the $9.95 link to re-sign up.

I was in a trial period (30 days free) and I was able to upgrade to this account. Should I call and still cancel my free trial period? When I look at my account there is a link that says "Still available, credit report from just TU" which leads me to believe that I'm running two concurrent accounts.

Based on foregoing the National City is the lowest price daily puller of all 3--especially, since WalMart does not offer theirs anymore.
I was not a previous True Credit customer and abled to sign up. Just click on the home page and goes from there (here is the link: https://www.TrueCredit.com/orderOrigination?op=Welcome:Right&product=CreditMonitoring&cb=995).
If i recall, there was a direct link for pulling your CR from TC. Anyone know the link?

I used to be on TC with WalMart $11 plan. Then they raised the price to $14 without any justification and you cannot get a refund. I canceled my TC and never looked back. I suspect they will rake you in with $9 plan then sneakily raise the price a few month later, hoping you won't notice.
Is there anyway to see who initiated an inquiry? It only shows the number of inquiries on the "Your Report" tab. Even there, it only shows 3 for me, even though I've applied for 5-6 credit cards over those two years and pretty sure Sprint and a few bank accounts I opened up online the past few weeks have added more. I'm currently on the trial and showing only TransUnion.

I got in on this deal when it first posted. Then two months in, they said they were "unable" to charge my credit card to renew for the month so my service was suspended at the 9.95 rate. But if I give them a new card # they'll set me up at 14.95/month. I said "Stuff It". I'll just go to credit secure or something else similar.
