The US Bank card came in the same timeframe as most of my others. About 2 weeks after applications.

Still waiting for that dammed BT to hit my wife's Bank Atlantic Biz card to pay down that last balance. I swear they are so slow with everything regarding that bank.

Anyways... what are the odds that I can just skip the reallocation from BankAtlantic Biz to Juniper Nat Parks and just apply for the Juniper Biz card for my wife? Then after getting the decline, she can just call and close the Bank Atlantic card and move the line over to the Juniper Biz?

That would save a lot of time. I want to get this thing started.

I'd also like to know the answer to this one.
I just have a BankAtl biz card and no personal card. Got declined recently for a juniper biz due to sufficient credit with barclays.

If your question, godfather123, is how to get Juni 13 month opened without presence of personal Juni, then simply close Bank Atlantic. Call next day and ask for Juni 13 month to be approved with the closed credit line available from Bank Atlantic.

1 close Batlantic
2 wait 1 day
3 call to request approval of Juni 13 month using old Bank Atlantic line

Boy did Bank Of America efffff up a Balance Transfer.

I initially wanted to do a Bank Of America balance transfer to my wife's Bank Atlantic Card. No problem gave them the account info for them to mail the check.

I waited over 10 days no money at Bank Atlantic. So I called Bank Of America to see what was up. They couldn't give me a reason as to why the money wasn't there yet. THE CSR OFFERED to "cancel" this balance transfer and to just BT the money to my checking account. So I said fine why not, i'll just pay Bank Atlantic myself.

I get the money from Bank Of America via ACH. I bill-pay Bank Atlantic.

Guess what I see now? I see a "Returned Fee" of $39 in my Bank Of America CC account. I also see a payment of 27k in my Bank Atlantic card, which is now a DOUBLE payment since I paid them 27k.

So I overpaid Bank Atlantic by 27k, which will probably eventually bounce and Bank Atlantic will hit me with a fee i'm sure. Bank of America whacked me for $39 bucks. Unbelieveable. And the CSR said "it wouldn't be a problem to cancel it".

They have some serious explaining to do. And if they have the nerve to tell me that it's "my fault", I'll demand that they pull the tape to the call I had with the CSR.

This is going to hold up my wife's AOR now because Bank Atlantic is now overpaid by 27k of funds that aren't even good.

Idiots.

wow... this unfortunate example is the reason these AOR threads are so valuable.

Others learn from you and everyone else's recent AOR experiences. Citi being PITA about consolidation/reallocation; CHASE continuing the slow response time; BofA reps lying to get credit for BT only to have your account overdrawn; lhendricks had some recent issues with Barclays recently too.

On behalf of all FWF members, thanks for posting your experience, DjPiLL

That happened to me with BofA two years ago. I requested a BT (mailing a check to my biz, before I was aware DD to checking was possible), they canceled it for some BS reason, requested it again, they canceled it again, requested it a third time, and finally got the check in the mail. Then another check, then another check. 3 $5k checks drawn on a $5k line. CSRs swore it wasnt possible every time I called, but they all posted.

CSRs then couldnt touch my account until it was paid down into good standing again. Found the easiest option was to just deposit the checks and send a payment to BofA for the extra $10k.

Paid it back down to $5k, and then they refunded the OTL fee, the interest charged since going over the limit invalidated my 0%, and reinstated the 0%.

Does BofA show both BTs, either pending or posted? Or just one, plus the $39 fee?

I wouldn't be quite that hard on them, I guess we know three things:

1) BofA is slow with BTs to a credit card
2) They can, and will, reissue them without waiting long enough
3) ACH deposit to checking account is probably still the best way to go

I had some titanic problems doing a BT from CapOne to a card of mine... took about 3 months until it worked successfully. Twice due to CapOne snafu, and once due to my typing the wrong address.

As it stands right now.... BOA just shows a "returned check fee" of 39 dollars.

USBank is showing a payment of 27k.

So either BOA won't be able to stop the check and ill go over the CL with them.

Or Bank Atlantic will find out the check bounced and they will get pissed off.

Either scenario isn't good. I am kinda hope BOA couldn't stop the check because then I can just deal with them directly and request a check from BankAtlantic.

Calling them in an hour to get the deal.

So of course I call BOA and they tried to pawn off the "Well you cancelled the BT and wanted to stop payment on the check what do you expect?". LOL I laughed at her.

Anyways they removed the check return fee. Of course when I asked what will be done if Bank Atlantic issues a fee they said "Well any good bank will look at this as an honest mistake and waive the fees".

Duh. We'll see what Barclays says. Of course since this is my wife's card she will have to call which adds another level of confusion to the process.
