Same question for how Cardbenefit.com is looking now.
Edit: oops, cheaprulz edited his post before I realized

Sorry -- I guess I should post why I'm an idiot.

Mike's links took me to Cardselections.com --
If I manually go to cardoffers.com and create an account - they tell me what cards they currently offer cashbonusses on :
Currently just 5 Discover cards.

A month ago I applied for a Blue card thru Cardbenefit and I already got the $25 check. The problem is that I can't seem to understand now for which cards does Cardbenefit offer bonuses.
Again, I am not referring to Cardoffers, but to Cardbenefit.

Status...Still waiting on balances. Discover, HSBC, and BOA have not hit $0 yet. $10k showing in revolving balances on EQ and EX, and $60k showing on TU (one BOA card has a $50k balance). Really hoping to fire this baby off this week...

this is a strange game; once I got hooked, I can't get away. I'm watching other's strategies just like yours with great anticipation. I feel like the summer 2007 AOR group is like a cohort group of graduates (squeezer99, markkundinger's master's degree, Blok too & the ever feminine VerbalK)

Let's all cheer on our colleague! GO MIKE!

Yes, I've noticed the "orama cohort" phenomenon too. And it's super-great to see the experiance of people, say, 2-3 months ahead of you in the process, as sometimes they can work as tripwires warning of adverse action.

Like sending a herd of bunnies througha minefield.

Thanks markkundinger, that made me laugh. I'm definitely cheering you on Mike. I did my AOR in July '07 (and preparing for round 2), so I'm definitely looking on with interest.

Mike, do you not want to reconsider applying for "I Fly" card given how Barklays does not honor BT checks and, at times, even tries to pull the money out of the account you deposited the check into claiming the check was fraudulent? This seems to be a new standard practice for them, ShaneM is the latest reported victim.

Is there more notations of problems with them? My family has 3 of their National Parks cards, and 2 of thier Bank Atlantic cards, and have never had a problem. If they don't honor BT checks, I'll just send the BT to another credit card with a balance already posted as a last resort. (That is what they've always required with Bank Atlantic).

They may not honor your BT check if it goes to checking, but can they stop the check if you really BT to a credit card?

Hum...I'll mull over the Barclay's personal app idea then. I could actually save a TU inquiry. If I do decide to do it, then I'll do Barclay's last of the TU apps (was planning on doing this anyway), and I'll just send the BT to another card and pray. Thanks for the info guys!

Thank ShaneM and bayareabuyer for being the "Barclays Bunnies"

Any reason why you chose the Bank Atlantic offer for 13 months and a $99 BT fee cap vs. the 15 month offer with a $75 BT fee cap (which appears to still be valid)?

I noticed the difference, but just figured they changed thier terms. I did the links to apps at work, so I didn't have my past excell spreadsheets with links to use. I updated this link in the OP. Thanks again.

I would be safe and suggest waiting a full billing cycle (30+ days after close) before applying for a new one. It might be possible to close and re-open in a single phone call though. Anyone have more info on this? I am curious as well. You can re-apply virtually immediately - a day or two prior to the new application is more than necessary. When I did this last fall, the CSR asked why I was closing the account, I told him why, and he offered to take my new application right then.
Your experience was better than mine. I got no offer and closed the account. Two days later I reapplied, rejected due to "only one card allowed". It wouldn't hurt to wait one billing cycle, IMHO.
