Byersebooks 4.95 charge - Credit Card Fraud

Has anyone been a victim ...

I found this charge for 4.95 on my credit card with Byersebooks and could not place it.
The charge was made 2 days ago. I check my accounts on a daily basis. I called my credit
company and disputed the charge. Since it was small, I was issued a credit.

Later this afternoon, I googled the name and found the following information:

So, reading this information it seems this charge is a small fraudulent charge. As suggested, I called the credit card co, and reported it now as fraud. They will cancel
my card and send me a new card.

A few months back I had another small charge <$10 that I had disputed. Never an issue,
but not sure if it was the same kind of fraud.

Not sure how they were able to get my card info. Not sure if anything else was compromised.

Any suggestions, experiences, etc?

A search (see the bottom posts) on Google also shows that most victims had previously purchased an Equifax product.

It seems like you are doing everything to keep yourself safe such as monitoring your accounts daily.
