Shamelessly taken from SD, havent seen it here in FW.

Some of you may not think its a good deal since its a BMW but this is pretty much the lowest rate you'll ever see on a BMW.
Basically all models, 0.9% financing for 60 months until July 31st. Doesn't work on the 1 series or most M cars
http://www.bmwusa.com/Standard/Co...vZjt3seA==
Saves about $50/month on a $30,000 loan compared to any normal BMW rate. If you are in the market for a BMW like I am for a 335i, now is the time to buy.
My friend just got a 335i couple of months ago at 4.9%, he cringed when i told him about this =P
If you really want a deal get a free vacation and up to 15% off by going to Europe to pick one up (see your dealer). .9% financing is pidly squat and not really much of a Finacne deal - I can get 0% all over but I am not going to post that.

DO NOT GET THE 335!!! A friend of mine has one and his gauge cluster went out. So he took it to the dealer to get it replaced and that was simple enough. A couple of days later he noticed that his car was much slower... Then he found out that the dealers were re-flashing the computers with a new software that shuts off the turbo on first and second gear. He can't even peel tires!!! When BMW Corporate called him in regards to his service experience he told them that he was disgusted and if they wanted to play like that he was going to get rid of his car and buy a WRX STi. They said that they would call him back... Bad company indeed. I was actually thinking of maybe getting a 335 myself or a 135 convertible. This new info completely blows my plans. BEWARE!!!!!

While BMWs are far from perfect, I've had my 335 in the shop only once over the last 18 months for a bad light sensor. Everything else has been perfect.

Mostly likely an isolated incident?

I'm calling shenanigans on this one.
If BMW were really doing that, it would have been all over the web.

Well, M5 and M6 show up as 0.9%, and Z4 M shows up as 1.9%... only M3 doesn't show as having a special rate... so what is this "most M cars" you speak of?

This is one of many thread on this problem. It's related to a software update that leaves the waste gate open at low RPM's to solve a problem with the waste gate where it would rattle on only some cars. The result is considerable lag down low. I'm just waiting for a magazine to test a new car with this engine and comment on the lag that they don't remember having the first time they tested this car.
And, thanks for the heads-up OP.

I remember a time when the the most important thing about a car was it's constant ability in reliably getting you from Point A to Point B.

Then you should NOT consider a BMW, the "Ultimate driving machine", for your daily transportation. Perhaps the Tata nano is more your cup of tea:
go to dealer, ask for european delivery. order it for european invoice price plus say $500.
wait for like 3 month, they pay for 1 ticket, hotel and car insurance. pickup in europe, drive for few days. drop it off, go to airport and fly back to states. wait another 40days for usa port pickup.

Don't let those spoilt American attitude ridden comments throw you off. I used to think hormonal problems were associated only with teens but apparently not. So you spend a mountainload of moolah on something so you can stamp your affordability status or pick up a weekend l*y. When will people learn not to waste money ?
