Thanks for the heads up on the bank notary -- didnt bother calling WAMU or BOA. Just called a Chase branch and asked about coin counting and notary, the rep said both services were free as long as I was a customer Got it done and just mailed everything out -- now to wait and see how long it takes for them to process everything |

Im assuming this means Chase bank customer? And not a chase CC customer.I do have a checking account there but they really didnt ask about it I went to the customer service desk with my box of coins and the MWAFCU papers and told her I needed coin counting and a notary. She told me to go to the business section for the coin counting and then head over to the notary (she pointed to the cubical). When I got to the notary, she just asked for a state ID/license and told me to sign the papers and then she stamped them You can probably get away with not being a banking customer -- just pull out the Chase CC first when they ask for your ID/license lol |

slavik said:Can I pay .01 to my friend with paypal 10 times a month? This would work, but is probably against Paypal's term of service: Paypal terms of service said:13. No Cash Advances. You agree not to engage in behavior that could reasonably be construed as providing yourself a cash advance from your credit card, and agree not to assist Users who engage in behavior that could reasonably be construed as providing themselves a cash advance from their credit cards. Such behavior includes, but is not limited to, a User paying someone with a credit card-funded payment through the Service, then receiving the funds back from the original Recipient and attempting to withdraw the funds from their account. PayPal reserves the right to reverse all such transactions and to terminate any accounts that are associated with such behavior. I think this is risky behavior... better to buy some short story e-books at Amazon, that clearly is a legitimate purchase. |

Has anyone asked if MWAFCU participates in the CU Service Center network? It's not listed on cuswirl.com, so I'm guessing it's not. |

Ok so I got my initial package from them after applying online. Gonna get the two forms notarized and sent back to them. Somebody here said they just sent them a check for $25 with a note saying take $20 and donate it to SPCA right? This sounds like the easiest way to go if possible. For the guys that have the account open... how soon were you able to get your account and routing number so you can set up ACH deposits from other banks? Somebody here said it took over a month to get a debit card, but if I can get my money in to them sooner, that would be ideal. |

Send two checks. One for $25 made out to Allen County SPCA and one for at least $5 made out to MidWest America FCU. I mailed back the forms and got an email back with my account numbers and routing info 4 business days later. |

Simple as that. If it's in FWF, it might as well be televised on a national infomercial. |

Do they send you the access code, and then a password? Can you set up access with only an access code and account number?
Thanks. The access code is your password, you will be able to change it online when you receive the code and your account number. |
