if I have already a discover more card, can I apply for the second one using these links? (I applied in Jan 2008) Do I need to close it first and then apply for a new one? |

You can have more than 1 discover card....based on past posts, they allow you 2 open personal cards....some used to have more but they started closing some on people based on reports, so YMWV...I have 2 personal and 1 biz... |

I don't really think that there's much of a difference between the Discover More CC and the Student version is there? I wanted to get the Canon A590 and this would be my second CC that I would be applying for. Will I be approved? I've only been through two billing cycles on my first CC (and I do pay it in full, more than the minimum payment, etc. before someone starts berating me.) |

I would assume you must be a student in order to apply for student CC. AFAIK Discover allows 1 application for personal CC every 90 days, so you may need to wait a little longer than 2 billing cycles. YMMV |

its talking about some $10/$200 bonus tho...that doesnt interfere with may 2nd Canon does it? Limit: 1 personal app every 90 days. Side note: Why keep trying for the bonus on the same card? You know there are other credit cards out there, that offer bonuses... |

Got my Discover in mid July, used it immediately. Just got a notification that I shipped. So about 2 months even for my GPS unit. Not bad. |

terms say: "Due to the rapid pace of changes in consumer electronics, product availability may change without notice. We reserve the right to update and replace the current offer with a reasonably equivalent product or model of equal or greater value based on product availability." so now instead of the Philips 9" dvd that can play from SD cards...it's now a 8.5 inch panasonic that can't
I applied while the offer was for the phillips, so I hope that is what they send..we'll see because the site now shows: "Current Status: We're Processing your promotion now! Congratulations! As you have completed requirements to receive your Panasonic DVD, your order is being processed. Your Panasonic DVD will ship within 10 weeks of your Discover Card Activation." |

thanks for the info. I've updated DVD player description in OP On a good note... panasonic DVD player is a bit more expensive, so you may be able to fleaBay it and buy Philips instead. |

Can the 90 day per card limit be passed using another name at the same address? |
