Just got an email from Advanta

Now is the time to use your card for all your business purchases. From now until September 30, 2008, spend $1000 or more and earn an additional $25 Cash Back bonus.* This bonus is in addition to what you normally earn with Advanta's Cash Back program.

* Your $25 Bonus reward will be awarded based on Net Purchases you make during the promotional period and will appear on your statement within 2 billing cycles after the promotional period ends. Rewards are not earned on cash advances, balance transfers, convenience checks, fees, finance charges or adjustments. To earn and receive Cash Back rewards, your account must be open and in good standing. Except as inconsistent with this promotion, your regular Cash Back Rewards Program Rules remain in effect.

No purchase limit. No enrollment. No purchase restriction.

In my case, I receive offers because I've had a 0% apr balance on the card for a year. Recently they took $50 off my balance for making my monthly payment $500 instead of minimum. This might be yet another ploy to get me to actually make money for them.

Interesting... my offer was for double reward points:

"Now is the time to use your card for all your business purchases. From now until September 30, 2008 we will DOUBLE your Rewards points on ALL purchases you make with your Advanta BusinessCard during the same time period!* There is NO limit to the points you can earn! "

I have a 2.99 BT for life with them - and yet they seem to think that I'll go for double rewards?

My email from them today was double Cash Back, starting with September statement start date through October statement closing date (hmm, OK). But 10% CashBack on gas now sounds good.

No, I got the worst promotion -- they reduced my CL to just above the balance and increased purchase APR from 8 to 25%! I didn't even get an email

I got this email too, $25 for spending $500. However I have about $8.7K of BT money from them which I don't have to pay back for about another 3 months, so I can make more money with that.

My account was 25/500, and I've made no purchases for a year on it (had a 0% offer).
Wife's was 25/1000, and we have made periodic purchases on her account in the past year.

Yeah, I got the 1000 for 25 (on my statement), which still isnt a bad deal since I was just going to prepay one of my utilities for 6% Cash Back (I think the limit there is 500-600 though) and would get the 25 bucks on top of that...
