I searched for this topic and didn't find any info on it. I wanted to discuss about buying property from US Bankruptcy Chapter 7 Trustees.

After googling and reading about Chap 7 Trustees/attorneys as real bad asses. I am now extra paranoid. But i would like to get in and learn the tricks of buying assets from this odd place.

I would like to hear any personal experiences from FWers. What are all the steps i need to take to protect myself? I understand that i need to talk to an attorney. But reading articles from that website seems to indicate that i need to be vary of my attorney as well.

Hope to have a lively and constructive discussion.

I'm sorry I can't help, but clicked on it because I work in Chapter 13 bankruptcy. A more descriptive title would be beneficial since the title isn't descriptive enough. Good luck to you.
