I actually checked it out, haha. It looks like most of the links aren't referral links, they just go straight to the issuer's web site (looked at the HTML code, I'm a web guy). Some of them are referral links, but I figure if they took the time to get everything together I don't care if they get a few bucks for me signing up...it DOES come out of the credit card company's pockets after all, not mine! |

Nice link except for one major problem. After you click on the links provided nowhere does it mention anywhere in the application or in the terms & conditions what Cash Back reward you will actually earn. For example you may sign up for a $200 sign up bonus but after you receive the card you discover that it is less of that amount or none at all. How are you going to fight it with the credit card company? Need to provide link to the original page where the actual Cash Back reward is listed and not just to the application itself. |

JackCrawFish: haha, didn't even notice that. I hate to say it but my username is from a far more geekier source--I used to read Dragonlance novels way back when and my favorite character was named Magius...Mag is just short for that. Been using it since 1995. RJG: Link works for me! I contacted the guy and I think the links that weren't working are fixed now if anybody had any trouble... |

informantguy: If you dig into the terms & conditions you can usually find info on your bonus amounts there. Not all of them, but most of them. |

I've never signed up for a card with annual fees so my question is...do they charge you right away for the annual fee? A couple of the Citi Cards have 20,000 TYP bonus after you spend $600 in 3 months. So I could satisfy that, get my bonus TYPs and then in 11 months cancel the card and only get ding for the $75? Is that how it works? Thanks... |

Yes, you've got it right -- unless the fee is waived for the first year (which is occasionally the case), it will appear as a charge on your very first statement. |

Thanks cyberkost! One last question for anyone that knows. After satisfying the requirements for the TYP points and getting point credited to your account, if you then decide to cancel the card a month or so later, would you lose the TYP points you received from that card. Note: I have a Citi card that I use regularly that I would still have so I wouldn't be getting rid of all my Citi Cards. Thanks... |
