"$500 gas rewards" requires buying $100 gas/month, submitting receipts, then getting $25 card per month (for 20 consecutive months??!!).
I applied for an Index Checking account online with promo code HD (for the $100). This checking account is only available online, so it is very questionable whether I will receive this promotional money or not.
