Seems solid. Since I'm not an Advanta fan (they're erratic) I would promot Chase and BofA to higher priority, but that's just me. |

Noted. I'm going to strike Advanta completely for now. As for Chase, since I already have the balance with them, I'm assuming that they cannot fulfill goal #1, so they are lower priority. My intent is to already have that balance transferred before I consider any more Chase cards. |

BIZ APPS AWAY! CitiBiz: deferred BankAtlantic: APPROVED 15k. Goal #1 is achieved! At a minimum, I can park the Chase debt on the BA card and still be under 50% utilization on that card. |

Ok, just did the BOA app over the phone. Apparently that FAATCY card as we originally knew it, is dead... the operator could not find that offer on the system. The card I applied for is one of their "worldpoints" cards, which has the same terms as the FAATCY except the promo period is only 6 months long. I decided to go for it anyhow, as the BT's are still fee-free, and I might get Bill Pay Choice in the bargain (the CSR suggested yes, but in a non-committal way.) |

I applied USbank Linux card last month along with a $9K Balance transfer. After faxing out my pay stubs per the request they only gave me 10K credit line... |

So far: BOA MC Worldpoints Platinum -- deferred USBank Linux -- deferred Citi Associated -- deferred -snipped-- an error, was talking about the wrong app.
Other apps will have to wait, I'm going to be late for work if I don't get going. that BOA app ate a lot of time. |

Congrats on the $15k CL right off the bat! Any instant approvals are usually a sign that the rest of your results are going to be good as well. Just remember. BOTH Bank of America AND Citibank will report new tradelines to the bureaus very quickly after approval. ESPECIALLY experian. In my early 2008 mini AOR, I saw new BoA and citi accounts reporting on my EX as quickly as 48 hours from application. Then they generally showed up on TU and EQ 1-2 days after showing on EX. BoA deferred my app, approved it the next day, and reported a new tradeline on EX the day after that. Citi also reported new accounts VERY quickly, like BoA. All other issuers I applied for were comparably slow to report new accounts. So just keep in mind you should probably complete all your other possible EX-pulling applications in by later today or tomorrow. |

Aw hell, I just found out over on ME3Head's AOR thread that FAATCY was the damn promo code I needed for the BOA app! I didn't know that, I thought that was just a goofy string in the URL that people here adopted for its name So when the CSR asked for it, I just said I didn't have one. Dammit, of all the cards to eff up. It will still be handy to have, but I have to be more careful about this sort of thing. |

I didn't know BOA had two different links for the same card. Here's what I used about 2 weeks ago. I was approved for 6.5k instantly and upon receiving card called backdoor number to get it increased to 17k. Worked like a charm! BOA Platinum Plus Master card https://offers.bankofamerica.com/ConsumerCard/MNCOffer.aspx?sc=FAATCY&lang=en_US&cc=OTS This link is slightly different from what yours lead to. |

Also, there's two different links for CITI BIZ w/ TYN (1P=>15k bonus, 12mt;0%;0fee) card. One give you the form but cannot hit the submit button, while the other one is just as normal. Looks like your went through fine. Hope to hear good news! Nice organization! |

Ok, a quick check so far shows 4 hits to Experian, and one to TU, so all this mornings' apps have their INQS in. Barclays was the only hit to TU. Experian FAKO dropped to 777, TU to 781. |

Two more apps are in the can. WAMU Real Rewards -- APPROVED $11k (I got this mainly for the free FICO and 1% forex, as well as 18 months 0% purchase.) Juniper I Fly -- APPROVED $7.5k That's 7 apps total so far. I'm going to do a Discover tomorrow, and perhaps one more of the remaining options, and that will be it for my AOR 1.0. As far as that goes, I'd still like to try for the Citi Driver's edge, but I'm not sure if it's a good idea to hit Citi twice (three times if you count the biz card). Same question for USBank -- are they safe to hit more than once? I'd like to try for the offer with five years of 3.99% on BT's (no fee), as I expect inflation to rise over that by a fair margin during that time. |

Discover More APPROVED $10k ok, there's 8 apps. One more, and I'm inclined to stop here, but so far it's going fairly easy. And with all the hits on Experian so far, apps that pull TU or especially EQ (which nobody has touched yet, not counting the Discover app) would still see "tabula rasa" or nearly so. |

Capital One Rewards MC: APPROVED $2k I tried the Capital One card builder and found a combo that will give me 2% Cash Back on all purchases for the first 12 months. While the CL isn't much, this card is intended to back up the AM3X TrueEarnings as the daily spender for small stuff. The only things for which the TrueEarnings is better are gas and eating out, and even a $500 CL will handle that just fine, should it get slashed... the Cap One matches or beats it for everything else. OK, that's it for the apps, unless someone comes up with a great idea for another app. I'm now past the 48 hour mark since the first apps launched. For those wondering, I decided to avoid Citi past the two apps I have already, in light of their current struggles. Should that matter? If not, I might go ahead on the Driver's Edge card. |

I'm only now realizing that Chase pulled EQ when I got the Platinum VISA from them. If that's right, and EQ is still pristine by tonight, I'll try one of the Chase apps, just to see if that $7k balance spooks them. |

Glad someone got a decent CL out of Wamu. Chase sometimes reuses credit pulls, so they might not do another inquiry at all. |

Apologies, I did not make clear that the EQ pull from Chase I was referring to, is the one from over a year ago, the only INQ I had going into this AOR. If they reuse that old thing, they can go right ahead I might just try another one from them tonight when I get home. I see also that the Feds are bailing out Citigroup... |

Glad to hear so far everything applied for is being approved (nice!) And many of the CL's seems to be fairly decent ones for you too. I see that just based on approvals that you got in the first few days (despite quite a few more still being processed...) you have already doubled your total revolving credit limits, from about $45k pre-AOR to about $90k total now. Sorry I didn't tell you as I realize now it's too late, but FYI: it seems that the only way to obtain a healthy Cap One CL (such as $10k+), seems to be not only meticulous credit profile preparation (which for the most part you have done: high FICO, low utilizations, no recently opened new accounts, no recent inquiries) but it also seems necessary to put them first on your list of applications. The response for anyone putting Cap One anything but top of their AOR list seems to be approval, but with a crappy (subprime-like) CL. They do a hard pull on all three bureaus, and seem to respond quite negatively to any recent inquiries. |
