When u do the application it asks for a promo code for the account. Are there any promo codes to open this liquid 4 percent CD? |

Are newer accounts showing the new rate? Or will the rate change not be reflected until the nightly system update? |

Current interest rate 3.6900% (3.75% APY) according to my account summary so looks like they are capable of running two different rates. I did not make it on board before the 4% guarantee expired. If you are looking for a new account, GMAC matches this rate (for who knows how long) with a much better interface (IMHO). Still, I have no complaints, it seems to be a well run bank. |

Non-guaranteed APY has fallen to 3.5%; their rate seems to consistently change the day after the fed funds rate or target is modified... |

And some other fees that those of us chasing high APYs elsewhere should be aware of: Account Closing (Within 180 Days): $20.00 Inactive fees (per month) (Balances < $250 after 12 mos. inactivity): $1.00According to their system, I had 7 withdrawls scheduled for January (I counted it as 6, since the first was on 01/02 and the last was on 02/02, but apparently the pull date of 01/30 counted for the 02/02 transfer and the transfer date of 01/02 counted for the 01/02 transfer). Anyways, I was not charged the referenced fee but they disapproved my scheduled transfer for 02/02 and a CSR called me to inform me of this fact. I rescheduled the transfer for 02/03 and did not have any problem. If it was an external pull, then they may have charged the fee or refused it altogether. |

Has anyone who was in on the 6 month guarantee had their rate reset yet? My 6 months are up (opened on 10/08, funded on 10/16) and the APR in my account information is still 3.93%. I recently transfered $35k out to fund a new 5% rewards checking account but if CNB is still giving us 4% maybe I'll transfer it back so I don't have to deal with the debit card transactions |

Darn, I'm down to 2.2% It appears they applied the 4% to 6 complete statement cycles, so having opened the account on 10/08, I had a week short of 7 months at 4% |
