I've already got hookers and blow, stocked to the rafters on those. Also have guns and butter. I plan on buying real estate once it's cheap as well. any other markets/avenues which will offer great value for the price once the fecal matter hits the spinning blade?

is there a particular brand of rope suicidals buy? I have guns, but which model is preferred by upper class investors who have lost everything? Something small, yet powerful enough to guarantee no chance of living?

Canned food (wild salmon is cheap now)
grains (oat meals even, rice, buckwheat)
cheap buzz you can make later, but sugar for it you need to buy now
silver dollars (real silver)
real estate to rent out with small, cage like compartments.
Now, I'd like to be kidding...

No, you buy traditional companies that are immune to such downfalls. But the problems are most stocks are inflated in prices...so it will drop.
I did my homework on the Great Depression and man, I think I have found the answers. It is wiser to do MainStreet investing than Wall Street unless you are looking to completely privatize a particular company.

But wouldn't the savvy shopper know the difference? In a market like this where suicides are on the rise, the smart consumer only wants to make one choice. The consumer is going to look for a reliable brand which has been proven to perform in the past. Repeat customers will be lacking, but word of mouth will not. Perhaps a deal with the local newspaper where they "conveniently" mention the make and model used in the suicide.

ayup, I've done the exact same research and found a ton of answers. LOTS of needs will need to be met, and I'll be right there to provide those needs.

I love it when people call me a greedy pig capitalizing on the misery of others, it just compels me to reach further and try even smarter.

The company that I work for already makes soyjoy bars that have green packaging. They like to emphasize recycling in their commercials too. Hmmmm.
