In the past HSBC has been very finiky with lines (giving $600 on 210K HHI on my wifes AOR). State farm and kroger have also denied others in the past for "excessive inqs"

------- I am thinking of not doing the AMEX blue business card due to all the bad AMEX stuff going on right now. that way i will be applying for 2 total AMEX cards... the plat busines card, and a personal blue cash card as well

i saw that 5/3 card you posted, they are local to me and i might add this to my lineup. does anyone know what kind of credit lines they give out?

I got an initial $1500 credit line for a 5/3 business card, but I went to a local branch with a paystub and got it increased to $10k with no hassles.

thank you. i am going to apply for this card. if i get a low credit line, maybe i can deposit a few thousand dollars into my 5/3 checking account and then wait a few weeks and ask them to bump it like you mentioned. i will keep people posted.

anyone have an answer for this-

i currently have 2 Citi Cards, with a total of 20K in lines. (1 card is 15K, 1 card is 5K)

A) should i apply for both of these citi personal cards i have on my AOR list just for the sake of CLR? Say each new card offers me a 10K line... I could reallocate all 4 lines to one of the O% offers and have a 40K line on 1 card. I would then cancel 1 or 2 of the others then.

B) Alternatively, I could apply for just 1 of these citi personal lines... and then CLR my existing 20K to get the 0%. After typing this out, I think option #2 is better. MAybe then they will offer me a higher line if I apply to just 1 personal citi card.

any thoughts would be appreciated, thanks.

I think you will be extremely lucky if you are able to reallocate anything between Citi accounts.

An update--

my experian and Equifax are all updated and they show all my balances paid down.

however , the transunion is giving me a score of 771 and is showing that i have high balances to the limits on my accounts. (which btw prior to prepping for this AOR, I had 95% utilization on a chase card and about the same on a discover card bc i had low rates on both of them.)

Transunion says in Summary about me:

Given that you have an average credit score, it may be difficult for you to qualify for the best credit offers. Prepare yourself to pay higher fees and interest rates, as well as make deposits and down payments. If you are applying for a credit card, be prepared for the possibility of lower or no lines of credit and high interest rates. To increase your borrowing power, prove that you are creditworthy by always paying your bills on time.
-------------------------------------------------------

A) should I freeze my TU and continue with my AOR on Nov 10? everything else is all lined up, this is my only snag. would there be any adverse reactions or cards that wont approve me if i freeze TU? I would prefer them to pull eq or ex bc they are not showing I owe any balances. (which is true, but TU just hasnt updated yet)

B) should i wait a few more days and wait til TU cleans everything up for me?

Please note that I did dispute the balances on all three agencies on Nov 2, I guess TU is just slower to do it though. I checked and they have completed 2 of the 4 balanced i disputed on the dispute status update. ( i dont know exactly which 2 item it is)

any input from those more experienced with AOR is appreciated..... A- Freeze and go for it, or B- wait a few more days til TU is clear

Wait. You dont want to freeze TU, you WANT inquiries on TU (they can be bumped with free CreditKarma alone in about 2 months). You're better off freezing EXP, as that seems to be the report of choice these days, and forcing the inquiries to be spread between TU and EQ (TU can be bumped, EQ can be disputed).

Glitch, you are awesome thank you for the swift response. I really appreciate all the info you are sharing.

I will wait a few more days until the TU clears up.

I will also freeze the EXP, as that seems to also be the thing to do. (plus my EQ is 801, so i would want them to check that over anything else)

Is there a way to get bofa cards with having Exp frozen? I did it last time and they refused to pull another CRA

narbi said:Is there a way to get bofa cards with having Exp frozen? I did it last time and they refused to pull another CRAI was able to in Sept by talking to a credit analyst. I was trying to find someone to take my EXP PIN to allow them access, and he offered to just pull a different report instead.

Does anyone know if anyone has tried to freeze their experian in the middle of an AOR? Like, after a few applications, freeze it. Any thoughts on that?
Would there be any upside to it, or would it be too hard to time?

Why? I guess you could in theory, but for what purpose?

You are better off freezing it from the start, then temporarily unfreezing it after all the apps have processed, for any issuers insisting on only using that report.

MY transunion has now updated, that's what I was waiting for. I will be launching my AOR tomorrow and will post results as they come in.

Citi Asscociateed card used to be 0 fee, it is showing as $75 capped now. Anyone have a link that will work with 0 fees?

Citi Drivers Edge, was 0 fee, now is 3% no cap. can anyone steer me to it with 0 fees? or should i accept that citi changed terms? any other comparable Citi Cards?

anything good for discover business? I cant find anything really worth it.

later today i am going to update all links and look for the above, if anyone can help it would be appreciated.

http://www.citibank.com/us/cards/cardserv/associated/index.htm

Balance transfer fee: 3% of the amount of each balance transfer, $5 minimum, $75 maximum. However, there is no fee with the 0.00% APR balance transfer offer described above.

the only instant approvals were the bank Atlantic business- 24K

the juniper i fly gave me 12,500K

Capital One business accepted me, but didn't tell me the credit limit

everything else was deferred for now.
