Saw this on the subway this evening, seems similar to an earlier Chase promotion but with a better average return. (10%)

Link -: Bank of America Visa Transit Promotion

Seems to be NY Metro Area only, max CashBack $100, need to enrol visa branded BofA card online through the site.

Thanks OP, sweet

Thanks OP! Couldn't get my FIA cards to work (Merrill+ and Schwab) even though they are technically BofA cards.

Note that qualifying purchases include tolls and taxi fares, for you non-public-transit riders.

A 10% rebate on the MTA's ridiculous fares is awesome. Looks like I may stock up on metrocards for six months.

You're awesome.

Looks like it can work for cabs and tolls as well. going to switch my ez pass over as well. As with all such offers YMMV depending on merchant coding.

BofA should create a similar offer for Chicago transit riders because CTA is considering raising fares again. A $75 monthly pass is going up to $90. Fares will be going up $0.50.

Thanks a lot OP !
Includes Metro North and my monthly is $345. I think i'll hit the max ...

Seriously! We need something like this for the CTA. I miss my UPASS.

Does it apply to Amtrak?

When I joined, it said I joined the "add-it-up" network?! and I can't find any more mention of the transit Cash Back.

Has everybody received their transit CashBack?

I did receive part of it but its less than half. Does anyone know what number to call if there are problems with CashBack?

The phone number is 866-438-6310. I just called and was told that due to an overwhelming response to the promotion they are still processing rebates for everybody. The CashBack should be credited to the accounts by the end of first week of April, meaning next week... I don't hold my breath

I'm still out $20.

...and I have four metrocards left, which will probably expire with the $#%*)$* price increase in a couple months.

Do you really feel that mta's fares are ridiculous? I am in NYC don't own the car and use the MTA as my main source of transportation. I'm perfectly happy with the fare. I'd much rather see the fares hiked up than see my income tax hiked up. I think the fare inflation over the past 20-30 years has lagged the inflation of most other things here in NYC.

I got all of it credited to my account. I had $70 coming and they did it $10, $30 and $30 increments. I had given up hope but it did come thru. Good deal.
