Thanks. Just checked and I see one for my American Express. Funny I didn't see it earlier nor did I receive an e-mail. I do not see one for the Visa (yet).

I cannot find anything written about it online. And FIA processes Bank of America's credit card business as well and I cannot see them dumping that.

U.S. Bank buys $700 million credit portfolio from BofA Article by: JENNIFER BJORHUS , Star Tribune Updated: December 22, 2011 - 9:10 AM Seller Bank of America is looking to raise money and wants out of the business of supporting cards issued by other institutions.
It seems like PART of the FIA Card Services business was sold. It's not clear that the entire thing was sold to U.S Bank. That being said, their statement that they plan on exiting the business entirely could mean more sales in the future.
The real question is whether this is considered part of their "agent bank credit card business" (for other banks). I guess it could be. I am not sure how US Bank's online/Quicken access is but it cannot be much worse than FIA's, so I would not be all that upset if it moved.
Probably a stupid question, so I'll probably receive some red, but oh well. If I max out my IRA each yeah, but earn contributions to an IRA with this card, do those contributions count toward my max? So if I receive $100 in contributions from this card, can I only contribute $4900 toward my normal IRA?

You don't really need to put it in IRA, even if you have the Retirement Rewards card.

If you redeem reward points into a Fidelity IRA, it is treated like a regular contribution, so it counts toward the $5000 contribution limit for the year.

Would you mind telling me what my other/best options would be?

I think I saw one of their redemption charts which showed that once you hit 25,000 points, you could get the full 2% rate for redeeming to a non-Fidelity account. But when I was on their site last week I did not see the chart going that far down, and since it appears that they are doing an auto-redemption at 5000 points, they might redeem it before you got to 25,000.

I'll definitely look into it, I appreciate your input!
You may elect NOT to autoredeem by changing the percentage of autoredemption to 0. You can change the account the deposit is made into in the reward area. Now you may have more than one account option if you wish.
This may have been covered already but I am a happy user of this card and I just logged into my account www.fiacardservices.com and found that the rewards button is no longer there and no where does it mention rewards for this card anymore. Was the 2% cash into the Fidelity account discontinued?
If so this card will be discontinued by me. Any one else seeing the same thing?

I'm assuming it's just a temporary website glitch; it's unlikely an issuer would discontinue a program like this without any notification. FWIW, the online app for the card still loads and displays the 2% rebate.
When I goto fiacardservices.com I can't view rewards. When I go through fidelity.com, and click manage rewards, I'm sent to a page that says " Error Rewards Information Temporarily Unavailable We're sorry, your rewards information is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later "
This BOA card has very bad disputing department as usual. Don't use this card to pay for any services. They simply do not accept service quality dispute. Their supervisor told me so plainly. I lost 400+ bucks this way. There are better 2% cards now. Stop using this one.

edit: what's special about the sallie mae card?Presumably that the customer service is better than FIA's. And no, the Fidelity card has no annual fee. But i was question the poster who said that there were other choices in 2% cards.

My credit history is definitely no longer than 3 years and that account apparently doesn't even show up on some credit reports (per Wells Fargo and American Express). Otherwise, all of my other credit is only ~4-6 months old. I also don't have a huge income. The key is to be polite and try to work with them. If the CSR is very resistant, ask to talk to a senior or their manager and/or float the idea of being willing to take a "lower" credit limit on the card. It's better to have the card with a "low" limit (apparently a couple thousand dollars is considered a low limit!) and keep paying it off during the billing cycle than not at all. If they are still resistant, try calling again and getting another rep! CSRs have varying levels of experience, patience, and knowledge. As a result, some are more willing to work with you than others.
I just collected the rewards by having the reward money sent to my Fidelity account. The Fidelity CC website has added a large button to have your rewards money sent to you by check. That would cut the reward in half for most of us.
