Also, want to let confirm what others have said that it is a softpull and for me it was transunion. It shows up under account review inquiries which are only viewable by me. |

As the person who said they represent Redneck bank said, they are part of Bank of the Wichitas, which is FDIC insured. Bank of the Wichitas lists Redneck bank on the front of their own website, stating Redneck bank is the internet division. /now for non serious: Their site must be hosted on this e-commerce platform. |

soupcxan said:Good find, but seriously, how much respect are you going to get when you try to pay for a nice dinner out on the town with this card? Looks like it was designed by Uncle Cletus. In case you can't make it out, the horse on the card is saying "Where bankin's funner!"
Tomorrow's headline: ***CITIBANK ACQUIRED BY REDNECK BANK IN EXCHANGE FOR MOONSHINE, OLD MULE If you are a bit more conservative, they offer the same design debit card without the horsey on it....... |

someone be a guinea pig and try it. I don't know why you wouldn't. My understanding is that the bank that intiates the ACH incurs a cost, and some liabilty for fradulent transactions. But it you intiate from another bank, there are few, if any, charges. |

I'm in Oklahoma and bank w/ Redneck Bank. It is excellent. Customer service is the best anywhere. You can deposit up to $25,000 and get over 5% interest. All banking is online but the phone people answer immediately and actually have answers. Once you're set up, you won't need the phone. They don't care if you use the card to charge candy bars as long as you use it 10 times a month. It is affiliated with The Bank of the Wichitas, brick & mortar. Both FDIC. I'd rate it 9.8 out of 10. Hassle-free & easy to log on and see your interest piling up. |

I'm seriously considering this account ... Possibly a silly question, but does anyone know if you can make ATM deposits using a different bank's ATM? I've only made withDRAWLS (pun intended) at other ATMs and never really considered trying to make a deposit like that. That would save the hassle of mailing a check to RedNeck if I wanted to make a large deposit (other than doing a Wire or multiple $500 ACHs). If anyone knows the answer, please share. If not, I'll be calling RedNeck tomorrow to find out and will post back tomorrow evening with the answer. |

TIA Yes. My trial deposits were put in last night and verified account this morning. Now I just need to find out how to get $24k into account after the initial $1k. |

So since we're limited to $500 per transfer, does this mean I need to do 14 transfers to get $7k into my new account? sheesh. |

Shirley you have the ability to ACH push money into your Redneck account from another institution? (Like GMACBank, Fidelity Fido, etc.) Can always mail a check, at least you'll get the float. |

Can always mail a check, at least you'll get the float. I can push but don't want to lose the interest, Will mail a check from a high yielding account and should get some overlapping that way. Oh.. And don't call me Shirley |

It looks like the easiest way for me to get money in this account is wait for my Juniper Bank BT to hit my BOA CC and then do another BOA BT ACH right into this account. Will need routing and account number info for this. But that's for my situation. I wish this account could ACH pull big money. The only accounts I have big money at are Charter and Midwest America FCU. I don't think you can ACH push from either of those two (unless somebody here knows a way). |

And don't call me Shirley You just gave me a great idea. How about "Bill-Paying" this bank? I can set up a Payee in Charter to "Pay" this bank. All I should need to do is put the account number for Redneck along with Redneck's headquarters address in the Charter payee info. Might get overlapping too if Charter doesn't withdraw the funds until the check clears. I bill-pay deposits all the time with small mom and pop banks. Never have an issue.
Hey Redneck employee .... how quickly do we get the account number and whats the best address to mail a check deposit to? |
