This is a Citi co-branded card. As far as I can tell, there is no other reason to use this card other than the no fee BT, since the rewards programs aren't particularly interesting. There are two versions of this card -- travel rewards & platinum. I do not think one needs to be a dentist to apply.

It has the proper verbiage:
"Balance transfer APR: As long as first balance transfer is completed within 12 months from date of account opening, 0.00% for 12 months from date of first balance transfer."

And more importantly ...
"However, there is no fee with the 0.00% APR balance transfer offer described above."

ADA Mastercard

Edit: There is a 10K points sign up bonus for $150 in spending on the travel card. This is equivalent to a $100 GC.
Edit 3/13/09: Offer may be dying. 10K points bonus seems to have been swapped with something far less favorable.

These have become few and far between lately, no? Might be a good one for the wife....

very interesting, I thought no fee balance transfers had disappeared. anybody gotten this card? what's the catch? what credit score do you need to qualify?

wow great find. thanks.

$75 maximum charge for the BT. Not bad!
Terms and Conditions

Quoted from the Terms: "However, there is no fee with the 0.00% APR balance transfer offer described above."

NICE! In this credit situation, that's awesome.

It does ask for you ADA membership number, but I left it blank. I hope that doesn't kill the deal for me. I have an introductory 2.9% that will end next month.

Green for OP.

Too bad residents of Puerto Rico are not eligible. Jodete, Citibank!

Applied with only the required fields (stuff marked with a *)

Thanks, OP. Hope it lasts until my AOR 2 in a few weeks.

Thanks op.

thanks op

Wow, this is really good. Just like the Associated Bank Card.

What are some CLs people are getting with this? Also, can you have a check cut instead of regular BT to another card for no fee?

Any luck in transferring Citi credit lines onto this card for the BT offer? I'm suspicious of applying for this card, fearing low limits.

Citi s-canned reallocations to cards with 0% promos. Unless that changed within the last month, you are stuck. I got a very good limit for my Associated Bank card though.

So if you use this card to get the sign up bonus and do the balance transfer, won't you end up paying interest on the whole amount?

The 0% APR does not apply to Purchases or Cash Advances

"This offer is only valid for new accounts."'

That really sucks ,because I already have a card with them. Anyone have luck with getting approved?

Got $20k credit line, but only approved 0% for 6 months.

I am only getting this: The page you requested is currently unavailable. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Please try again later.

Who doesn't have a citi card already? This is a co-branded card, so it's OK.

Thans much--didn't get automatic approval but went through.

Maybe because I tried to take a shortcut and clicked already a member. Tried to apply as a new one and it worked...

Now I realized I made a mistake, I should have selected "dentist", if you select "student" or "team member", you get 6 months. I didn't see it when I was applying for the Platinum Select card the first time.

Where is this stated? I do not see it on the sign up page

Does anyone know if they hard pull all three or just one?

And they say it's hard to become a dentist, when in reality it's only one click away

20K for a student, not bad

0% BT, no fees, and it makes Chinese food too? Can I get the Kung Pow?

lol

Thanx OP. Just in time. I will give it a shot!

"Membership Information" "ADA Member Number" what goes there? would a fake number work (can someone give an example)?

Or may be leave it blank

Every approved CC application IS a new account.

All it means is that this offer is not valid for a person with an existing Citibank ADA MasterCard.

I suggest NOT to put any incorrect information as it always comes to bite you back.
Anyway, only the fields with an asterisk are * Required Fields, so you do not need to fill optional info.
