Added a link in the OP to a new user-maintained list of cards at the App-O-Rama site. |

I'd like to get more info about the NEA Platinum Plus card from B of A. I know it's designed for National Education Association members. From the terms and conditions: The NEA Credit Card ProgramŽ has been developed for NEA members and their families only. If a member decided not to renew membership, that person and his/her family will no longer be eligible to receive the preferred rates, fees and special promotions offered through the NEA Credit Card Program. If eligible, a replacement card will be offered. However, it also says: The NEA is not involved in the credit decision process; standard credit procedures are followed. That makes me wonder if Bank of America actually verifies membership. I do not see anything on the application page that asks for membership information: https://wwwa.applyonlinenow.com/USCCapp/Ctl/entry?sc=FACUKD&mc=A000002AJG#apply Has anyone around here successfully received this card without being a member? |

Great Post. Just can't believe ZERO Fee BT is back. Guess I have to accumulate some balance first by using my AMEX Blue Sky (0% on purchase for 15 months) and do BT at the beginning of next year. Sadly, now INGDirect only give 2.5% interest. So if you BT 10k, only earn 250 bucks a year. Thanks. Keep the good job. |

Could we possibly add in cards that have a low apr like 2.99 or 4.99 that offer that rate for until it is paid off on balance transfers? |

That is fine by me, as long as they meet the requirements in the OP. I don't know the best place to find those deals, so please post the details if you have them. |

I don't have any I just had seen some in an older thread similar to this one... I was hoping that someone was able to find some... Damned having the same name as my father, I wanted to apply for a citi card w/0% balance transfer and pass some of my 18k onto it.... but because he didn't pay dish network and they screwed up and put it on my credit I have to go through the dispute process! ARGH ... anyways just wanted to vent and hoping that someone can find one of those 2.99 or 4.99 for life transfer cards! Cheers JC

Thanks OP for compiling this thread, I've been looking for something like this. I do have a general question, what are the chances of being approved for a card that I already have? I suppose it depends on the issuer? How about Citi and Chase? I know I probbaly wouldn't get any sign up bonuses but was wondering about the balance transfer promotions..Thanks |

Come to think of it, I think you're right. It is becoming harder to find some no fee BT links, so it could kill some of the affinity card links before another AOR is ready to be started again. I guess if this thread dies, better then to weigh the cost vs. benefit tradeoffs of having it posted at that time. |

Two exceptions I know of to this would be Advanta and Barclays. Bank account sign-up bonuses are hard to get more than once, but sign-up bonuses can typically be gotten multiple times with credit cards. |

Anyone good with coding? I can't stand the long lines scattered off the page so I attempted the following but I still get the annoying scroll bars (in spite of wrapping longer notes to the next row): Requirements for cards to be included in this list:
- Must have no Balance Transfer fee or capped Balance Transfer fee (BT fee).
- 0% or very low APR for Balance Transfers.
- Must not be a pre-approved offer like you get in the mail.
- Geo-specific cards (like National City & Fifth Third Bank) are OK, but note if they are restricted.
