Your worst purchase?

Every now and then I make some stupid purchases with my money, even if it directly contradicts FW.

Last April my old car (a FREE hand-me-down) had a ton of problems, and it got to a point of where I didn't want to deal with it anymore, so I bought a brand new car. Yes, it's an immediately depreciating asset. It was a stupid move.

What's worse, is that I don't even drive the thing anymore, since I have a job that I can get to by public transportation very easily now.. If I sell the car, it'll be an immediate 5k loss, but if I bought used, I might have lost tax and registration at the most.. Oh well.

Anyone else make some stupid purchases lately? Let's hear them!
