I am going to try it but most of these accounts are automated so the coupon is there just as an advertisement. What would you do with the active $50 coupon? I wouldn't worry and just try it.

Funny…
I talked earlier to a Nuvision representative. I opened my account with them back in January. When I tried to log into my account I was told that a copy of my Driver's license and my signature card are missing and the account is frozen. So I sent them the papers and it took them 2 weeks to receive it. So today, after I was told that they got the papers, I asked the representative what will happen with the promotion for the $150 since I couldn’t access my account until now. He answered and sent me to the flyer that is on their website, which says "Must visit a Nuvision Branch to redeem rewards". Here is a link to it: https://www.nuvisionfederal.org/site/150_flyer.pdf
I am not sure but I think that they deducted some money for the American Consumer Council ($5 seems to be not available for some reason).
Bottom line: only if you can access a branch you will get the rewards according to the rep I talked to.

yes. just got off the phone with a representative of Nuvision. I got 50 bucks of the bonus but the remaining $100 bonus required me to go to a branch to redeem it. They already changed the flyer to reflect the change however it was not mentioned in the original offer. Unless somebody has saved a copy of the original offer, we don't have a case here.
