I came across this site by accident tonight. Although I haven't found any real new information, I'm sure that after searching through the posts, I'll eventually find some good financial info. Really this may be a better spot for newbies to start out at.

It's somewhat similar to the site from Bankrate's Frugal $ense contest. Bankrate offers $100 if your tip wins during a month. "Each month our editors will choose finalists from among the most useful ideas, and present them to you -- the readers -- to choose the best. Your votes determine the winner. At the end of each month, we will award $100 for the highest-ranking tip."
Cool idea, but most of the tips are for tards. Also, no way to sort by rating that I'm seeing.
Examples: "Pay your bills online to save on postage." "Never pay checking account fees" "Pass on extended warranties" "Request a reduction in the interest rate on your credit cards." "Save all change. Adds up quickly." "Get organized and avoid missed payments." -whaaa? Get out of town!
With this new knowledge I am an unstoppable titan of capital...

Good find. Lots of tips are very obvious though. Green for finding another Goggle product.

this looks like something I should comment on because I work with web stuff. not sure what this has to do with finance, but this site looks like a pre-beta (very early development version) of some kind of google forums -- not very good in my opinion. how can you compare that to fatwallet? there's no comparison.

The ING bank execs that keep spamming the tip jar with their praise are making me want to vomit.
