When opening a checking account, most banks give you a debit card. Which banks give it to you the same day?

I know TD Bank does. Any others?

Capital One gives a temporary (no name on it), then the "real" one comes in the mail.

Bank of America used to, but I haven't opened an account there in person in years, so am not sure about today.

Chase does not.

BOA still gives you a temp card, at least as of January.

Woori Bank

Is the TD instant card just a temporary with no name? I'm debating opening an account there; they invite me every time I use their coin counters.

Lockheed FCU gives you the card same day (they make it on premise)

With your name.
They generate it for you right there and then.

I opened a Canadian dollar account with Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce in Windsor, ON a few years ago. They gave me a no-name card on the spot, coded it with my chosen PIN, and I've never received another one. It works fine.

I've had my TD Bank checking account closed recently, due to a number of overdrawns. Is it a good idea to re-open with them? I really like TD Bank. Let me know.

Citibank gives you a debit card on the spot. Then they mail you a mastercard debit card. So you need to use your pin until you get the replacement card.
