Why is there so many multi-level marketing gimmicks out there? Archived From: Finance

My buddy liked it, actually. He made some decent cash, got nice set of knives for himself and his family, etc. The problem with Vector/Cutco is that damn few people like to sell things (I loathe it) but the company's hiring practices make no effort to try and determine who might be suited to sales in the first place.
