I searched and did not find this posted before.

Addison Avenue Federal Credit Union is offering $100 bonus and 3.51% APY (upto 25K) for rewards checkin account.

Today (07/03/2009) is the last day. I did it just now. I talked to rep and rep said it is soft pull.

Open linky

Web site is slow and irratic. Many times I had to stop loading and reload.

You may also call a Member Support Specialist 24/7 at 877-233-4766.

You would need to qualify for CU membership as part of the process. One easy way is to select Financial fitness association (FFA) member. Although it does not ask for FFA member id, you can become FFA member by paying $5 dollers here.

Here’s how you can qualify:

1. Open a new Addison Avenue membership
2. Open a Dividend Rewards Checking account with $200 and fulfill the following requirements within the first 90 days of account opening**:
* Make 12+ debit card point-of-sale purchases per qualification period
* Have one direct deposit or one automatic recurring debit per qualification period
* Enroll in e-Statements

Dividend Rewards Checking:

* Earns a high dividend of 3.51% APY*
* Unlimited, fee-free access to any ATM in the U.S. and Puerto Rico
* No monthly fees
* Free online banking and BillPay
* Transfer funds electronically
* Free e-Statements and direct deposit
* Free online check safekeeping
* Free automatic overdraft transfers

Hope someone benefits.

Also joined the last day. I discovered this promotion through flyer at work and decided to give them a try and applied at their local branch. Their website seems a little buggy but the billpay application seems to work OK. i like that you can pull/push ACH from other accounts.

I setup my account. Got the debit card right at the local branch where I applied and received the free checks (400 they are going to last a lifetime ) in the mail.

Website is buggy especially the ACH transfer function but it seems that they are aware of that. So far so good. If they keep an attractive reward structure and fix the online banking bugs, i'll move most of my banking there. If not the 100$ are nothing to sneeze at just for trying. An underrated deal, i think.

At least some of the ACH bugs on the website have been fixed. They are also adding E-deposit and mobile banking to their website.

I also found out that they only did a soft inquire on EX for opening a checking account. Probably because i applied in the branch, because mostly it is reported that they do a hard inquiry when you apply for membership.

Found the 100$ Bonus in my checking account. Addison Avenue did keep their end of the deal. I found it easy to do 12 debit transactions/month for small purchases. This Dividend reward account is a keeper!

The 100$ deal may still be alive. I got a notice yesterday at work that they still (or again) give the 100$ bonus to new applicants. I don't know if that is local or not but it's probably a good idea to call you local branch if you are interested in this account.
