sloppy1 said:Chase Sapphire Preferred Offer Details: 25,000 points after first purchase You will receive 25,000 bonus points with this bonus offer, which can be redeemed for a round trip ticket on most major airlines up to a $312.50 value...
Going strictly by their offer, it appears these 25k bonus points can only (?) be redeemed for an airline ticket???? Yes, it doesn't say 'only' but there is no mention of other possibilities! Maybe these bonus points are in a special category for redemptions??? Am I being too cautious, too suspicious here? After all, it is Chase and they can be quite anal. Someone asked this earlier in the thread... the answer was posted here |

30 days deferred. two possible reasons 1. recently approved for chase freedom. 2. gave incorrect employer name for privacy reasons - maybe they couldn't verify that. any guesses why no instant approval? |

thats it??? Doesn't sound like this card is worth the $95 annual fee. The Starwood AMEX card annual fee is only $45 and you can exchange pts for miles with all airlines.I just called to find out who they are currently allowing transferring points to. Hotel programs: Marriott Hyatt Airline Programs: British Airways Southwest Airlines United Airlines Continental Airlines |

Instantly Approved. -23 yr old -770 fico -2 existing chase cards (most recently applied one was a year ago) -$56 HHI Pretty shocked I got approved. I thought this was marketed towards a very upscale consumer, I would have thought 6 digits HHI required, etc. Whatever, I'll take it. |

Instant Approval - 22 years old - $110k HHI - 3 existing Chase cards with $20k limit total - mid 700 FICO Also, last time I checked I had a 30-day late on my credit reports, but they may have taken it off by now (student loan that was supposed to be forgiven but instead went into repayment without me knowing). I didn't see anywhere to put my existing Chase ID, maybe I just overlooked it though.

Looks like you can cash out the points for gift cards or straight cash. This is a quick and easy $250!! Cash Back Pay Yourself Back Use your Chase Sapphire Preferred card to purchase what you want. Then, within the next 60 days, use your points to Pay Yourself Back with a credit to your statement. Credits begin at 2,500 points for $25. Rewards Check Use points for a cash-back rewards check starting at 5,000 points for $50. |

mlayu said:I'm wondering if it has special cash redemption such as Chase Freedom Card where we can redeem 20,000 points for $250 check. If it is, then this can generate $300 bonus. I am wondering the same thing. Anyone know? Thanks. |

1-800-493-3319. I called Chase CC customer service first. They said they no longer have a credit approval dept. so I called Sapphire at the above number. After 2 long holds and speaking to a very helpful rep. she put me through to the approval dept. which closed an account them and moved the limit over to the Sapphire. Hopefully I get the bonus which I highly think I will since it is not a conversion. I logged-in and the CL was already gone except fro $100. I am hoping the account does not get closed but she did say it will be 2-3 days for the account to be removed. Good luck. |
